at Carbon Robotics , you will be a key part of the team that
designs and lays out electrical power distribution systems, PCBs,
control systems, and more. Not only will you architect and do
detailed designs for the systems you own but you will also test and
support them through production and post sales. You'll do whatever
it takes - which might include going to the farm - to ensure our
customers have reliable and safe products . What you'll do: Design
and integrate complete electrical systems including PCBs, control
panels, power distribution, and wiring harnesses for revolutionary
products Own systems from cradle to grave including component level
and integrated testing, introduction to production, and post sale
support. Design and validate a variety of high and low voltage
systems including 240V AC 3-phase power distribution systems and
24V DC control circuits Create system schematics, PCB layouts,
industrial panel designs, and harness routing documentation using
CAD and analytical modeling tools Partner with mechanical and
software teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical
subsystems into production hardware Assist with technical decisions
through project planning, task delegation, and cross-functional
problem solving Support contract manufacturers and provide
technical guidance for production of electrical assemblies
Prototype, debug, and iterate electrical designs through hands-on
testing and automated verification Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
for Success: 2 years experience designing complex electrical
systems spanning embedded, power, and industrial applications
Experience in Altium (v18) for schematic capture and PCB design
Experience with high and low voltage systems, industrial controls,
and safety systems (per SAE, ISO, IPC standards) Experience in both
digital (microcontrollers, high-speed signals) and analog/power
electronics Experience with failure analysis Hands-on hardware
debugging skills and experience with automated test equipment
design Knowledge of PLCs, industrial communication protocols, and
sensor integration Experience managing electrical aspects of
projects through contract manufacturing Past experience developing
electrical systems for automotive, agricultural, or aerospace
vehicles is desired BS in Electrical Engineering or related field

what are posted. The compensation range outlined is based on a
target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various
factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview
assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements.
Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon
Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits
premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions
for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year.
