your future with us. The Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Digital
Engineering (DE) organization is seeking a proactive Engineering
Technical Specialist (Mid-Level or Senior) to join our team in
Everett, Washington. This role supports BCA programs by managing
current production, processes, and tools, while driving the overall
Digital Engineering strategy for the enterprise. The successful
candidate will evaluate new technologies, prototype solutions for
cross-bedrock engineering integrations, and identify and prioritize
projects related to 2nd Century Enterprise Systems (2CES). The
focus is on defining and developing future state processes and
tools, particularly around 3DX and BCA Product Development.
Position Responsibilities: - Develop and deliver Structures Model
Based Definition (MBD) solutions for Boeing Commercial Airplanes
and the enterprise to accelerate MBD adoption, improving first pass
quality and cost performance of recurring and non-recurring
engineering activities. - Collaborate with Dassault (CATIA V5 &
3DX) and other partners/stakeholders across disciplines and product
teams to understand requirements, evaluate current “Out Of The Box”
(OOTB) functionality, and propose enhancements to ensure mature,
efficient solutions enterprise-wide. - Develop detailed test cases
to verify 3DX tool capabilities at unit and integrated test levels.
- Author a wide variety of documentation including tip sheets,
functional specifications, software test cases, and Business
Process Guides, prioritizing research and structured content
development. - Support current BCA Programs production issues to
minimize disruption in engineering flow and quality related to
Model Based Definition processes and tools. - Collaborate across
teams and functions to design high-quality, integrated processes
focusing on requirements gathering and well-defined documentation.
- Transition to agile methodologies and tools (Azure DevOps) for
managing daily tasks, work backlog, and dependencies. - Develop,
document, implement, and provide consultation on engineering tools,
processes, and standards ensuring compliance and regulatory
requirements are met. - Provide training and assistance in the
utilization of processes and tools, supporting integration of
engineering designs. - Identify and validate user access roles,
produce tip sheets, and understand system interoperability. -
Provide configuration management, coordinate changes, perform
compliance assessments, and manage implementation of product
standards across business units and programs. - Represent Boeing on
external standards committees and develop, adapt, or adopt external
standards for internal use. - Develop, maintain, and distribute
engineering documents, reports, and correspondence to support
business activities. - Collect, analyze, and validate engineering
performance metrics and coordinate organizational requirements to
support business needs. This position is expected to be 100%
onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at
one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required
Skills/Experience): - 6 or more years' related work experience or
an equivalent combination of education and experience - Experience
with Model Based Definition CAD design Preferred Qualifications
(Desired Skills/Experience): - 10 or more years' related work
experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, accuracy, and strong
organizational skills. - Effective communication and collaboration
skills with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating a
customer service focus and mindset. - Strong work ethic, sense of
urgency, and ability to complete assigned work with minimal
supervision while meeting commitments. - Knowledge of Agile
methodologies is highly desirable. - Experience with engineering
lifecycle activities, tools, and processes. - Proficiency in
Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools such as CATIA, ENOVIA, PDM, and
3DX. - Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
(GD&T). - Structures and/or Mechanical systems design
experience is a plus. - Strong project management skills. -

considerations. Summary Pay Range (Level 3): $90,950 - $123,050
Summary Pay Range (Level 4): $108,800 - $147,200 Applications for
