an exciting opportunity for an Electronics Assembler IV at our

Assembler position is a professional in the manufacturing
environment who applies extensive knowledge and skill in the
assembly field, working with little or no supervision to perform
assigned assembly processes to manufacture Crane Aerospace &
Electronics products in accordance with military and/or other
assembly standards using visual aids, verbal and/or written
instructions. In addition, the Assembler communicates with all
levels of the Value Stream as well as performs visual and
dimensional inspection. Essential Functions: /n - Perform assigned
assembly tasks /n - Prepare components prior to assembly, clean
components, mark, and inspect components, subassemblies, or
completed assemblies /n - Test finished assemblies /n - Set up and
operate assigned equipment and machinery /n - Observe proper health
and safety procedures in handling hazardous chemicals /n - Train
and mentor new employees and other team members in new processes,
procedures and Crane tools /n - Prioritize daily demand per Master
Schedule Report for the cell(s) they are working in /n - Discuss
and problem solve quality issues with Manufacturing Engineers, the
Quality group, and leadership /n - Create work orders,
Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for quality and material issues, and
First Article Inspection's (FAIs) at "In process/End Item" as well
as other assorted assembly functions /n - Hold a current IPC Solder
Rework Certification /n - Serve as a designated inspector /n -
Practice safe work habits as established by OSHA and Crane policy;
Proactively identify safety concerns or issues and work with the
Engineering group to implement solutions /n - Participate in
cleaning of area and machinery and take part in team meetings for
improvement /n - Visually check completed work against drawings to
insure accuracy and completeness /n - Cross-train to work on at
least 5 products /n - Complete job-related company training courses
/n - Support Crane Business System (CBS) initiatives including 5S,
KPI's, Standard Work, Problem Solving, and other initiatives as
they arise /n - Flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary
/n - Any other task assigned by supervisor or management /n -
Understand and/or participate with internal/external audits /n -
May be required to repair/rework defective or returned assemblies
/n /n Minimum Qualifications: /n - Experience: 10-15 years of
Assembly experience in a manufacturing environment /n - Knowledge:
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control,
costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective
manufacture and distribution of goods /n - Skills: Strong verbal
and written communication; Good reading comprehension
(understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related
documents); Basic computer skills (understanding of basic software)
/n - Abilities: Accurate color vision, near vision, and depth
perception and other vision capabilities required; Manipulative
skills, including finger and manual dexterity; Adept hand-eye
coordination and arm-hand steadiness; Ability to thoroughly
interpret production or engineering prints, production planning
information and assembly aids such as illustrations and wiring
diagrams; Ability to work well in high paced work environment in a
high-volume setting /n - Education/Certification Requirement: High
School diploma or equivalent; Fine soldering certificate or
equivalent experience /n - /nEligibility Requirement: This position
may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the
position requires such access only US Persons will be considered.

input into employment process /n - Ability to do part marking,
wrapping and packaging finished goods and transport to other work

appropriately and close work orders /n - Ability to perceive and
pre-determine sequence of operations and installation requirements
from sketches and oral instructions /n - Experience maintaining
equipment on a stringent calibration schedule /n - IPC solder
rework certification /n - Designated Inspection certification /n /n
