At World Vision we're using conventional and next-gen digital catalog marketing to mobilize people behind a global mission to extinguish extreme poverty by 2030. We need your enthusiastic and creative strategist mindset to lead us towards new frontiers in digital while continuing to innovate and evolve our highly successful -Gift Catalog -product where it also plays in the offline print marketplace to the tune of 11 million catalogs a year. Be a key contributor on a dynamic 6-person team that together is responsible for generating up to 350 million in revenue annually across catalog and non-sponsorship offerings. More specifically, find yourself challenged by supporting product and segment strategy and plans, leading the development and implementation of the catalog's direct mail, email, mobile, and social media marketing strategies. The customer experience is pivotal so be inspired to create end-to-end customer journeys and life-cycle campaigns designed to activate, engage, and retain supporters. Negotiate and partner with vendors for the life-cycle execution of channel marketing campaigns. Results matter so lead with measured tenacity and grace as you ensure the successful and timely completion of business goals and timelines including revenue, sales unit, cost and supporter experience measures. Help carry out our Christian organization's mission, vision, and strategies. Personify the ministry of World Vision by witnessing to Christ and ministering to others through life, deed, word and sign. - 02 -What success looks like -Be a catalyst and play a leadership role -in our Gift Catalog achieving a double-digit -increase in new donor acquisition within 2 years of hire. Lead us to a breakthrough by being the driving force behind researching, identifying, and constructing an optimal digital platform for the catalog that delights donors and moves them to buy gifts that change lives and empower people out of poverty. Are you feeling called to explore joining us We hope so. - 05 -You Bring -Deep experience in marketing directly to consumers, preferably in a consumer goods or charitable giving space or related industry. Additional experience leading and developing a catalog is highly desired. Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or related field or 8 years of equivalent work experience. In addition to education or education equivalent, requires 7 years of work experience in marketing, fundraising or a related area. Your experience includes at least 5 years of developing marketing plans and strategies in campaign management and channel marketing (email, mobile, social, direct mail, etc.). Additional required skills and knowledge include: knowledge of marketing automation technologies and use of platforms to create cross-channel journeys for supporters, demonstrated advanced proficiency in marketing as it relates to planning, budgets, strategies, and metrics. On the innovation side you have experience with campaign testing, forecasting, analytics and measurement. A demonstrated aptitude to proactively lead business improvement, lead and inspire cross-functional collaboration, relationship building, influence and negotiation. Strong project and process management skills. - - 06 -Additional skills we're interested in - A wish list of sorts but here it goes. You have self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm that shows up in your superior relationship building and negotiation skills with internal and external clients. You are the proverbial team player that works well with colleagues from various functions/departments possessing the nuanced but important ability to influence the work of others without direct reporting accountability. To accompany that you can function autonomously, hitting deadlines and moving projects through to completion with minimal supervision. A fast-paced cadence to the work You thrive in this type of environment in part because you're flexible and adaptive as scenarios change. Bottom line is you're someone who rolls up your sleeves and gets the job done with a successful track record of delivering results that move the needle. You're able to speak to and show examples of your amazing work (we'll be all eyes and ears). You have proven experience strengthening a brand and implementing disruptive go-to-market plans that break through the clutter. You bring a keen interest and curiosity to learn catalog marketing consumer trends and fluency with brand measurement metrics and analytics, including a solid understanding of digital marketing trends and best practices. Strong understanding of the overall marketing mix and its role in helping a brand build awareness, familiarity, favorability and trust. Strong analytical skills including the ability to analyze raw data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable recommendations; this includes: proven ability to analyze data relating to advertising impressions, site visitation, and online product metrics.
