This role will support the company goals and strategies of the Company Owned Operations.-- Financial outcomes and scorecard metrics,-- Directing and coordinating activities within the business unit(s).-- Driving the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of direct reports and carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization?s policies and applicable laws. -- Oversees daily operations for the business unit(s). Ensures implementation of growth strategies and coordinates the development of key performance goals for team members-- Represent the company?s Vision, Mission, Values and 10 Serving Basics-- Schedule and conduct department and company meetings and weekly GS&R?s with direct reports-- Coordinate and discuss financial/operational matters on a regular basis with finance personnel and department leads-- Communicate and collaborate with PDO Holdings operations and accounting leadership on financials/operations of the office-- Develop a business plan to achieve profitability goals Creates and cultivates business and professional relationships based on trust, actively listening and finding ways to manage multiple teams while still having fun Directs and helps engage the leadership team for long-range goals and objectives for business growth and profitability.-- Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations and forecast data in each department within the business unit(s) and their progress toward stated goals and objectives. Ensures compliance with company standards for cost control, quality, safety and customer service standards.-- Provides performance feedback, training and coaching to develop to managers and employees.-- Maintains our company culture and fostering an environment that promotes safety and drives exceptional customer service expectations by recognizing and rewarding desired behaviors.-- Reviews operations and financial budgets to meet requirements for sales planning; Develop and protect business relationships and account management.-- Analyzes operational information and set key performance goals to manage productivity and oversee execution of management action plans to meet or exceed key performance indicators.-- Oversees key hiring and talent development programs and evaluates these initiatives for proper investment in equipment and talent.-- Manages compliance with state and federal regulations.-- Competency ? Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:-- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Knowledge of our main operating systems; OuickBooks, Next Gear RMS and Xactimate-- Knowledge of the restoration industry-- Knowledge and ability to read and write mitigation and reconstruction estimates Knowledge of Project Management-- Knowledge of Business Development-- Customer Service Skills-- Communication Skills (verbal and written)-- Coaching Skills-- Situational Leadership skills-- Ability to read, interpret, and manage financial statements-- Ability to manage, lead, and coach a staff within an operation-- Ability to learn and operate our primary operating systems Ability to work office equipment (fax, scanner, printer, phone system, computers)-- Ability to work independently-- Ability to work in a team environment and develop staff-- Ability to promote and sell our company and service-- Stress Management and Composure-- Maintain a level of confidentiality-- --Required Education and Experience -- Bachelor?s Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, or related field-- Ten plus years? experience in restoration or construction field-- Five plus years? experience in a Management role-- Five plus years? experience in a Project Management and/or Estimator role-- Experience with reading and interpreting financial statements-- General Contracting license preferred but not required IICRC Certifications-- Before You Can Take the Field: We require a drug and background and check. Working Conditions and Physical Requirements: The physical environment requires the employee to work all types of both indoor and outdoor conditions. Frequently required to use personal protective equipment, having ability to stand or walk, occasionally bending, squatting, climbing stairs and lifting up to 50 pounds.
