Job Description:

The Human Capital (HC) department is seeking a Human Capital Manager, Business Partner, to support The PolyClinic Care Delivery Organization (CDO), full time in an office setting in Seattle WA. Telework is available as needed.The HC Business Partner functions as an integral member of the team and acts as a as a strategic consultative business partner, performs a variety of Human Resource Management functions. Area of focus is on partnering with organizational leaders to understand complex people-related issues and develop solutions that support all parties. Other activities may include recruitment and training.The HC Business Partner is responsible for and not limited to:* Provides guidance and expertise to clinic leadership, management staff, physicians and employees on employment practices, interpretation of legislation, laws, regulations, policies and procedures related to employment, compensation, employment records, investigations and finalization of allegations and complaints. Recommends appropriate and timely actions. Ensures consistency of policy/program interpretation & implementation. Provides consultation and advice to management team regarding employment matters.* Coaches directors and managers to develop and enable staff; works with Human Capital leadership and client team leaders to determine best engagement strategies and guides departments through execution; conducts teambuilding sessions as requested by managers; leverages various listening systems to capture data as needed to continually improve programs.* Supports Talent Acquisition for TEC; Participates in the interview process and supports the selection of final candidates. Participates in strategic workforce and succession planning initiatives. Conducts exit interviews.* Collaborates with Leadership and Human Capital partners to develop and facilitate staff training programs and skill development activities.Preferred Experience and Credentials:Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Note that these requirements are representative, but not all-inclusive, of the knowledge, skill, and ability required to perform this job.* Knowledge: Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources management including labor relations, recruitment/selection, compensation, training and development, workplace trends, and workforce planning. Requires knowledge in local, state and federal employment laws and regulations.* Skills: Must be able to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with staff at all levels. Must be effective liaison between employee and management perspectives and needs. Skill in providing leadership in human resources management and administration; collaborative problem-solving methods; practices and principles of supervision; strong communication skills including excellent writing, verbal and presentation skills; team building; problem-solving; time management; evaluating and assessing the effectiveness of teams, programs and individuals; conceptual and analytical thinking; collaborative processes; human resources services; developing innovative human resource programs, including training programs; staff development.* Abilities: Ability to exercise initiative, judgment and decision-making to support the Clinic's core values and organizational goals.* Education: College Degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field preferred. Other equivalent formal training or related work experience may be substituted for formal education.* Experience: Minimum of five years progressively responsible exempt experience in Human Resources management, preferably in a healthcare environment.* Certification/Licensure: HRCI Certification as PHR or SPHR, or SHRM Certification as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP required.* Employees are required to screen for symptoms using an approved symptom screener prior to entering the work site each day, in order to keep our work sites safe.* Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a worksite building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained.Interested in learning more?
