an experienced, entrepreneurial product manager and marketer to
join our team as a Director of Product Management, reporting to the
Chief Operating and Financial Officer. Bsquare is building IoT

Product Management, you will join a team that is launching our next
generation of products and services and will be responsible for
setting and achieving our business plan objectives. You'll guide
the product story, always ready to speak for and to our business
customers, always in pursuit of ways to help them succeed. The
position will work closely with our product development and service
delivery teams as well as senior leadership at Bsquare. The
position requires close collaboration with our direct sales team,
managing a technical sale, building on long-term customer
relationships, and helping us forge new ones. If you are looking

Responsibilities At Bsquare, the Director of Product Management is
- Articulating a product roadmap that allows Bsquare to achieve
our business plan objectives.
- Working closely with the Director of Product Development and
the VP of Engineering to deliver a product that consistently
provides a compelling value proposition for our customers.
- Analyzing and understanding our customers in order to inject
their voice into our product development and marketing
- Meeting with customers to explain our product, help them
identify and quantify business cases, and serve as a consultative
expert in their purchasing decision.
- Making decisions that keep product development cycles on track,
ensure that milestones and deadlines are achieved, and that balance
the risk of an inherently entrepreneurial endeavor.
- Presenting clear and well-structured product updates to the
Senior Leadership Team on a regular basis.
- Developing and maintaining product requirements documents and
decision frameworks that help prioritize features in a resource-
and time-constrained environment.
- Maintaining a thorough understanding of the market and
competitive landscape to ensure a sustainable competitive
- Working with the sales team to clearly understand customer
requirements and translating that understanding into well-defined
product development and customer support activities.
- Working with the marketing team to articulate a clear value
proposition and to produce high quality, persuasive, data-based,
and accurate collateral, business development scripts, web content,
and product descriptions.
- Using data, experience, and insight to shape marketing
priorities and campaigns and continuously assessing progress
through qualitative and quantitative analysis.
- Collaborating with the CEO, CFO, and other members of the
Senior Leadership Team to develop, fund, and execute a business
plan that accelerates value creation.
- Vetting and pursuing opportunities to expand Bsquare's business
with new customers, new partners, new products, and new services to
create value for Bsquare investors and team members. Qualifications
- 10+ years in sales, engineering, product development, or
product management/marketing, in roles of increasing responsibility
and with a clear track record of outstanding business
- Experience supporting direct sales and business development
activities as a subject matter expert with prospective customers
and business partners.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the
ability and credibility to influence customers, guide engineering
teams, and persuade other senior leaders and colleagues
- Extreme attention to detail and highly organized, even in a
fast-paced start-up environment
- Ability to analyze both complex data sets and incomplete data
sets to draw conclusions and make rapid decisions
- Self-motivated with an ability to own projects and drive
results with little supervision
- Ability to forge strong, cross functional, working
