About Your Next Opportunity:The--North America HTC VIVE team is
looking to hire a--customer and partner-centric--marketer to lead
the effort of bringing VIVE hardware products to life with some of
the world's largest retail and distribution partners.This position
will be responsible for--driving sell-thru by--developing--a
full-funnel--retail--channel marketing--strategy at--key--US
retailers--for--the--VIVE--ecosystem of products. Collaborating
with Sales and Operations teams, you will define our
channel--marketing and customer--experience strategies
across--digital channels, affiliate networks,--visual
merchandising, in addition to sales training and advocacy across
regional accounts. You will also define the demand gen and
promotional activities that scale first party operations through
these accounts,--with focus on enterprise lead generation and
consumer revenue acquisition.--The Sr. Manager, Channel Marketing
will be key in successfully managing a combination of new product
launches while continuing to drive--established businesses---
developing, implementing and measuring retailer
specific--promotions and marketing plans. The HTC VIVE team will
rely on you to be the expert on the consumer, the competition, the
account-specific business drivers, our partners, and business
trends for respective products in the relevant businesses. In
addition, you'll have a high level of business acumen while driving
the direct impacts of our marketing activity on retail partner sell
thru performance and other relevant metrics. As a detail-oriented
planner and strong collaborator with Sales, Merchandising and
Category, you will have the support of the HTC VIVE team to do what
it takes to flawlessly execute our retail channel marketing
programs.Your Impact:* Evaluate and document consumer and
marketplace dynamics impacting the--VR hardware--category;
including breakouts by account and product. * Drive agreement on
key channel objectives with sales teams and accounts.* Develop a
close working relationship with the account managers, 3rd party
partners, and retailer(s). * Develop marketing plans for respective
retailers/partners based on collaboration with account managers and
executive teams. Plans will vary by account and ensure
in-store--and online--brand ownership, category assortment,
promotions, merchandising, sales contest, etc.--and they will be
grounded in your knowledge of the levers for driving share and
revenue at the account level (e.g. on price, shelf presence,
display, features, promotions, convenience, etc.). * Help to
establish a Go-To-Market strategy to effectively manage product and
brand presence throughout the product lifecycle, while driving the
execution of activities.Your Expertise:* A mix of business planning
and execution skills. * Experience developing efficient work plans
for complex projects involving many groups.* Experience managing
affiliate marketing programs.* Effectively coordinate and implement
plans across multiple projects. * Proven experience with
plan-o-grams, RSP training, Online merchandising--and marketing
programs.* Experience with digital marketing practices including
SEO, SEM, social, CRM and display advertising.* Excellent written
and verbal communication skills. * Ability to effectively influence
others in multiple groups and collaborate to achieve specific
goals.Qualifications:* 8+ years' Marketing experience* 4 years'
Retail experience, channel or category* BA in relevant or related
