Who we are...
The Global Renewals Strategy and Operations Senior Manager is a high impact position, responsible for the operations supporting Tableau's $1B+ annual worldwide renewal contract pool. Reporting to the Director of Customer Success Programs & Operations, this position drives all renewal operations, implementing process efficiencies and reporting accuracy through automation and cross functional process alignment. The Renewal Strategy Managers should have broad expertise and unique knowledge of the SaaS industry. This position is responsible for ensuring maximum financial results for Tableau while strengthening partnerships with existing customers.

Professional skills will include an ability to set strategy, organize and execute an annual operating plan, coordinate global alignment in our renewals business, and experience in change management in a global organization. The Global Renewals Strategy and Operations Manager is a team player who understands the need to build strong relationships with key partners within Customer Solutions, Finance, Customer Operations, and Sales. The role comes with a responsibility to align project and operational work with the goals and values of Tableau.


What you'll be doing---

  • Lead a team or renewals-focused program managers who are responsible for executing projects and programs that enhance the customer experience or improve the processes for our renewal managers
  • Manage all aspects of the global renewals business process to optimize business performance and improve reporting accuracy
  • Define, prioritize, and drive automation projects to streamline processes and deliver improved results.
  • Own all standard reports and dashboards related to renewal business management, including creation of ad hoc reporting as required.
  • Engage with other senior leaders across sales, operations, products, and finance to drive cross-functional collaboration
  • Responsible for all data management needs of the renewals organization, including territory maps and assignments.
  • Integration of Salesforce workflow & policies into standard renewals management process
  • Manage implementations of new renewals programs in conjunction with renewals leadership
    Who you are---
    --
    • 7+ years demonstrated success in operations management or similar role
    • Experience managing a team
    • Strong analytical, written, and oral communication skills and prior experience communicating with senior levels of management
    • Strong project management skills, inclination towards process improvement, and strong analytical and data management skills.
    • Experience with renewals business processes
    • Experience working with Tableau, Salesforce
    • Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to strict deadlines

      Education/Experience:
      --
      • 5+ years of direct or related experience.
      • Bachelor's degree or higher in Business, Technology or related field preferred.
