Job Description:

We are seeking a passionate, energetic Director of Infrastructure to report to the CIO and lead a digital transformation. Managing four teams right off the bat, you will take a publicly traded company through their transition to the cloud (AWS).
Professional Qualifications & Requirements:

• 10+ years in software & infrastructure engineering
• 5+ years in cloud-native architecture, infrastructure engineering, and cloud operations
• 5+ years management experience
• Exacting project management skills and an inside-out knowledge of product release project models
• Extensive expertise in datacenter and AWS
• Experience with virtualization, containers, services, and load balancing at cloud scale
• Experience in DevOps, scalability, failover, high availability, capacity planning
• Proven expertise and focus on information and security and data privacy and compliance
• Experience managing traditional infrastructure, on prem systemsCultural Expectations
  • Proven track record of leading by example, with empathy, using positive influence
  • Ability to build consensus, work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment

    • Own and drive the complete on prem to AWS migration
    • Help design, implement, maintain, and evolve a world-class, cloud-centric technology platform
    • Manage, monitor, and optimize cloud infrastructure, including cost management and spend optimization
    • Recommend, help implement and oversee the execution of best practice development, testing, and deployment methods
    • Budget for, establish, optimize, and oversee the management of remote teams and vendors
    • Interface with the executive team and cross-departmental management to collaborate on the best utilization of our platform and infrastructure
    • Ensure platform and products are secure, scalable and, highly available
    • Advocate for and oversee adherence to desired and required industry certifications
