great team.This OpportunityWith broad, strategic responsibilities,
the Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer (CECO) is an individual
with exemplary leadership and relationship skills at the level of
being a role model for peers and employees. The ideal candidate is
a strategic leader, consultative and partnership-oriented in
approach who will ensure ethical considerations related to data use
and compliance with all relevant and applicable laws, regulations,
contractual requirements, standards and practices for all relevant
stakeholders, both internal and external to the organization,
including regulatory entities specific to Truveta's mission and
operational model.As the ethics and compliance leader, you will be
responsible for assuring ethical discernment deep into the culture
of Truveta while developing and maintaining a compliance program
that is effective and efficient in identifying, preventing, and
correcting noncompliance with applicable laws, regulations, and
industry certifications. Truveta's ethics and compliance
obligations will broadly include use of data, privacy, security,
conflict of interest and intellectual property. You will report to
the CEO and will communicate directly with the Board.Who We

while making a difference.The Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer
(CECO) leads ethical discernment, where needed, and leads multiple
compliance and audit functions that are strategically and
operationally essential to the management and business of Truveta.
The CECO promotes a culture of ethical behavior and provides
integrated leadership across compliance, ethics, and risk
activities at Truveta. The CECO reports to the CEO and the Board of
Truveta.CECO Responsibilities Include* Advise the CEO, the Board,
on the development, dissemination and implementation of an
appropriate ethics and compliance infrastructure with performance
metrics that are designed to detect and prevent non-compliant or
unethical conduct throughout the organization* Facilitate a
compliance risk assessment process and develop an annual compliance
plan and annual compliance report for the company* Collaborate with
business partners to research and develop recommendations on how to
most effectively address ethical and compliance-related issues of
business applicability including high risk compliance areas
cybersecurity, privacy, data management, data usage, intellectual
property protections, conflict of interest and research among
others* Coordinate ethics and compliance activities and initiatives
with management, business leaders and shareholders associated with
Truveta* Receive report and complaints submitted pursuant to policy
and ensure timely and appropriate response* Assess compliance
readiness of various departments and work collaboratively with
operational leader to ensure compliance matters are promptly
handled* Collect and analyze data and develop metrics to measure
the effectiveness of the ethics and compliance program and
initiatives undertaken on behalf of the institution* Convene and
lead an ethics and compliance risk committee to provide program

for you.Key Qualifications* Bachelor's degree in related area, over
10 years of related experience, and/or equivalent experience or
education required* Juris Doctorate degree* 10+ years of experience
in privacy, cyber security, data integrity, compliance, legal,
intellectual property, or equivalent field* Commitment to the
highest ethical and professional standards* A philosophy of
compliance which focuses on providing tools to manage risk rather
than on strict enforcement* Extensive knowledge of ethics and
compliance theory, standards and practices* Knowledge of policy
development, management, and retention practices, including
oversight of record management policies, practices and systems*
Demonstrated interpersonal and relationship building skills,
including negotiation and communication that are effective across a
wide variety of audiences* Demonstrated ability to work with
multiple partners collaboratively and identify and mitigate key
ethics, compliance and audit risks* Ability to work independently
with limited oversight and within a team environment* Skilled at
alignment of risk tolerance and mitigation to support successful
implementation of compliance initiatives* Excellent written and
verbal skills to communicate in an effective, clear and convincing
manner* Extensive record of managing and leading a professional
staff, with an emphasis on developing the talents and expertise
that allow for expanded responsibility and ownership* Ability to
manage multiple, concurrent priorities* Certification in privacy,
preferably CIPP or CHPC, Compliance-related certifications
preferred or required within 12 months of hire (e.g., CHC, CHRC)Why
