Job Number: 210811 Department: Care Management Services Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm In this Care Management Supervisor role, you will be responsible for the daily management of front line Inpatient Social Workers, Social Work Assistants and interns/students.

• Ensure smooth flow of operations by directing the work of staff. Develop, modify, implement and evaluate operational processes for the section. Assign and change priorities within the work unit to ensure highest customer satisfaction. Provide leadership and direction and act as a resource to staff, providers and other customers for daily operational needs.
• Train, discipline and supervise staff including contributing to performance evaluations and competency assessments. Maintain and update staff procedure manuals, staff training programs and quality assurance programs.
• Assist manager/section head with budget development, management and performance metrics. Assure cost-effective daily operations and allocation of section resources to optimize available staff with demand for service.
• Participate in improvement projects focused on achievement of annual goals and lean initiatives; ensures implementation of and adherence to improvement changes.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal and regulatory agency requirements for processes and staff.
• Participate as a contributing member of section(s), department and VM-wide management team.
• Act as a contributing member of team as needed to facilitate delivery of services.
• Help out with complex care management issues as and when needed.
• Under the supervision of the manager, spend majority of time on the Genba focusing on the quality of the work and holding team accountable to standard work and processes. Qualifications: Requires Master's Degree in Social Work or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with current Washington State licensure as an RN. Also requires 3-5 years' experience in social work or nursing. Prefer 1-2 years progressively responsible leadership experience.
