Job Description:

Job Purpose: The Project Manager works within the Marvin Replacement business within the greater Seattle area. This position delivers an exceptional customer experience by conducting the final measurement for windows and doors with the utmost accuracy in sizing, material counts and labor costs, and providing on-site project management of all jobs sold from Marvin Replacement. Essential Functions: * Conduct final measurements for windows and doors. Provide installation solutions that match customer expectations and adapt production specifications to the installation requirements. * Be the first on site for every job. Introduce self and installation team. Set expectations with the homeowner regarding schedule, work to be done, & confirm job completion walk through time * Manage sub-contractors and their work (Installation, Staining, and Specialty). * Communicate with installation crews on specifics for the jobs, providing advanced notice of unique factors the crew will need to be aware of with the job. Assist all installation partners with questions and concerns on projects measured * Allocate the correct amount of materials needed to complete projects. Correctly job cost all labor rates. * Review each job prior to turning into ordering department to reduce any errors * Problem solve all project and customer issues with efficiency and professionalism Additional Responsibilities: * Conduct job completion walk-through with homeowner(s), consisting of demonstrating window and door operation, completing Zero-Defect document, delivering customer gift bag and noting and following up on all unsatisfactory or unfinished work. * Be dependable and punctual with appointments, documentation, and commitments. * Provide necessary training and job feedback to ops and sales team related to measuring, pricing, and installation. * Train new installation crews. * Willingness to work variable work hours, adapt to schedule changes and accept changes in process. * Maintain professional appearance, attitude and demeanor * Create and monitor purchase orders with the utmost accuracy * Order all specialty products that are needed to complete projects * Turn in all necessary paperwork for completed measures within two business days * Maintain current labor rate document and make changes when needed * Utilize clear, current, and professional communications among key team members Qualifications: * You've obtained a high school diploma or equivalent * You have 5 years or more of construction experience, preferably in home improvement and/or window replacement. * You have 2 years or more of experience working and problem-solving directly with customers and homeowners. * You must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable accident and moving violation motor vehicle record. * The ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and other required technology. * Understanding of construction documents, construction methods, and installation techniques. * Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm. * The ability to lift, push/pull, and carry at least 40lbs, stand for at least 6 hours per day, and climb ladders, stairs, and kneel.
