Job Description:

Come join the team of one of Seattle's best Cafe's + Wine Bars. Bottlehouse & Mr. West is looking for that special someone who is a natural leader, possesses a great attitude, work ethic, and explosive energy. The ultimate motivator, with a proactive "less talk, more action" attitude, who identifies needs and fulfills them. Experience and knowledge with wine, beer & cheese is a must; natural wine knowledge a huge plus. There is opportunity for advancement, so we need someone that has the desire to move up with a small, locally owned and women run company.

Include but not limited to:

* Working the floor. Your role will require filling floor needs or holes in service on any given day. You may be scheduled to any section on any given shift including but not limited to serving, bartending, hosting, and or general BOH support.

* Manager reports of staffing and employee shifts (via meeting or email)

* Report of any customer or in-house/staff complaints

* Responsible for opening, closing, cleaning procedures, delegation and duties

* Responsible for all inventory counts (retail, bar, and kitchen) by ensuring completion through delegation and follow-up

* Responsible for maintaining storage units, including organization, cleanliness, accurate inventories and best storage practices

* Daily accounting procedures, including reviewing opening and closing till counts

* Knowledge and understanding of menus (wine, food, cocktails and their selling points)

* Familiar and confident with all company procedures, policies, and processes by end of manager training period

* Managing and leading all new employee orientations and culture training

* Training of new employees and managers

* Managing and leading all employee reviews

* Writing, reviewing and publishing monthly schedules in a timely fashion

* Bank runs for petty cash and cash deposits

* Monitor adherence to health, safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen and restaurant

* Implement and oversee cost cutting measures, and ensure Bottlehouse is adhering to margin goals

* Assist Operations Management to identify places to cut costs and to improve performance, policies and programs

* Ensure correct storage of supplies

* Arrange for maintenance and repairs of equipment and services

* Superb attention to detail, time management and organizational skills

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work well under pressure while also meeting deadlines
