Senior Manager, User Experience Are you a hardworking Design Manager who is driven by leading teams through breaking down difficult problems into easy to follow, engaging, and state-of-the-art experiences?   • You are an influencing voice in strategic roadmap discussions at program level
  • You will mentor teams on synthesizing insights in complex problem spaces
  • You will drive the creation of compelling customer experience vision, strategy, and success metrics at program level, and connect related initiatives
  • You will facilitate ongoing collaboration with stakeholders with varied perspectives to align goals and ideas
  • You will role model and mentor for exemplary visual and interaction design practice and hold yourself and others accountable to deliver high quality experiences
  • You will take a whole systems approach to analyzing and solving customer problems
  • You will champion appropriate usage and growth of design systems
  • You will help your team apply and adapt human-centered design and research processes to inform large/complex problem areas
  • You will use both qualitative and quantitative insights of customer research and data and business analytics to drive design solutions
  • You will uphold a high standard for delivering customer-centric work, on time
  • You will create communication materials using storytelling and persuasion techniques that build trust with partners and establish long-term relationships
  • You will coach your team to use feedback effectively
  • You will guide others on best practices and approaches for clear, concise, and organized communication
  • You will recognize staff potential and guide employees in developing skills by recommending appropriate training and sources of information
  • You will create an environment for team effectiveness, where strengths are known and built upon, and learning is shared to build capacity
  • You will share domain and industry knowledge between cross-functional teams
  • You will lead the shaping of an inclusive, innovative, candid and trusting culture in your team
  • You will prioritize team morale and productivity, celebrating team accomplishments

  • You will attract and select diverse and high caliber talent Who you are:
    • 10+ years professional experience as a user experience designer or UI designer. As well as 5 years' experience directly leading and encouraging your team to personally raising their personal performance bar
    • Interaction, visual, UX design and user-centered design expertise with a propensity towards simplification
    • System and platform mentality is at the core of your overall design- and human-centered design thinking methodologies
    • Authoritative at balancing qualitative and quantitative data to drive strategic and design direction
    • Excellent presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well the expertise to analytically defend your design decisions
    • Proficient in standard design tools including Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator, as well as a solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, and responsive layouts
