Clinical Marketing Manager - Imaging and Scanning SolutionsVerathon is seeking an experienced Clinical Marketing Manager to lead clinical marketing initiatives for the Imaging and Scanning Solutions (ISS) business. Verathon introduced the first BladderScan Bladder Volume Ultrasound (BVM) Instrument nearly 33 years ago and has helped shaping the landscape for bladder management and continence care. Solutions are chosen because of how they perform when it truly matters, helping healthcare providers make a real impact.Your Role: As the Clinical Marketing Manager for Verathon you will represent the Voice of Customer for our ISS business. You will be expected to establish and maintain strong Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations. This individual will represent, and champion clinical applications support needs for customers and is also expected to participate in new product development, clinical studies and potential business development activities. They are expected to improve the overall customer experience by focusing on clinical uses, education and gathering customer insight. You will work closely within the organization (i.e.: Sales, Service, Marketing, R&D, etc.) to ensure customer's needs and product development are on track.The Clinical Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Marketing for the ISS business, and will be based at our global headquarters in Bothell, WA.Principal Responsibilities:

  • Provide global clinical marketing direction for the Imaging & Scanning Solutions product lines, both existing and emerging.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and resource for all clinical issues.
  • Identify and develop long term relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL). Develop strong understanding of global customer environments through voice-of-the-customer analyses and KOL as well medical advisor relationships. Lead market research where needed.
  • Establish, drive and participate in meetings of scientific advisors on clinical strategy and protocol development.
  • Ensure accomplishment of key clinical milestones. Assist in identifying, qualifying, and initiating clinical sites, and ensures quality of data collection, including conducting quality assurance of data monitoring.
  • Create investigational plans, clinical study protocols and infrastructure for conducting studies.
  • Participate in the budget preparation for clinical studies and monitor performance of the budget.
  • Provide cross-functional training to support marketing management and sales training needs.
  • Create initiatives to expand knowledge of clinical information with customers and internal stakeholders (primarily sales and marketing) including development of content such as clinical summaries, promotional materials, and training presentations.
  • Lead clinical marketing at trade shows and other training and marketing events, which may include presentations and event creation/coordination with Key Opinion Leaders.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Diagnostic ultrasound experience required
    • Current ARDMS or equivalent credentials in relevant field(s) (RN, RDMS, RDCS, RVT, RMSK)
    • A minimum of 5 years of clinical marketing or relevant experience, preferably in Medical Devices Previous experience working in the imaging (Ultrasound) space required
    • Current license appropriate to field of expertise (preferred)
    • Global clinical trial experience preferred.
    • Self-motivated, self-directing, strong attention to detail with exceptional organizational, planning and project/product management skills
    • Proven ability to effectively engage and/or develop trusted partner relationships with medical advisors, medical experts, clinicians and or Key Opinion Leaders.
    • Collaborative skills with prior success in influencing and persuading others who are not direct reports, preferably in a matrix organization.
    • Clinical teaching/in servicing experience desired
    • Flexibility and tolerance of ambiguity
    • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Collaborator and team player
    • Excellent (analytical) problem solving and decision-making skills
