Sr. Manager Learning and Development for DealerPolicyDealerPolicy is looking for an experienced and creative learning professional who can motivate and drive excellence in learning for our Distribution team. In this role you will set the learning strategy and implement and manage learning and development programs. The Sr. Manager ensures solutions are aligned with business strategies and change initiatives and provides a range of expert consultancy services to management and executives for creating and sustaining a learning and development culture. This role will partner closely within the team to advise on innovative best practices and look for efficiencies and operational effectiveness.The ideal candidate will have experience leading, delivering, and managing learning projects and have a passion for creativity and personal development. The role requires strong collaboration, outstanding communication skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast paced, ever changing environment.Program Oversight - Oversees the instructional process across assigned programs, evaluating the quality of programs and curriculum on an ongoing basis.Project Management - Coordinates and drives the plan for learning programs. Takes ownership of assigned projects, documents program plans, reports results in a timely manner, and drives timely completion for every milestone.Communications - Manages the marketing and communications for assigned programs. Communicating regularly with program stakeholders, leadership, and others as required.Documentation - Ensures the proper documentation for all programs.Facilitation - Has the ability and expertise to deliver curriculum on a variety of platforms to include face-to-face, online, and blended learning environments. Exhibits a professional facilitation presence and implements adult learning best practices.ResponsibilitiesAdvise, develop, and implement comprehensive learning and development strategies that are aligned with the business strategy; apply business scrutiny as to what to develop in-house versus purchase.Apply psychology, organizational behaviors and knowledge of adult learning to create and facilitate, manage learning and development programs.Partner with business leaders, Workforce Development leadership, and subject matter experts to drive impactful learning and development projectsAssess the development needs of the departments and provide recommendations, training designs, and plans that will support business effectiveness.In conjunction with the greater Learning evaluation strategy, design and implement a measurement strategy to evaluate the quality and effectiveness of programs, adjust as necessary to meet and exceed industry benchmark data, and tell the story around impact from user experiences.Partner effectively to develop and deploy communication and branding strategies to enhance awareness and share relevant metrics, program impacts and stories that support the overall purpose and ROI for learning development programs,Scope learning and development projects, including number and level of resources, duration, and budget, and manage Statement of Work and projects on time and on budget to meet business objectives and quality measures.Develop strong business relationships with external resources as identified by leadership. Providing organizational context, facilitating the implementation of these projects, and ensuring that follow-up effectiveness assessments are conducted.Ability to analyze data to drive decision making and provide business leaders with recommendations for performance solutions.Maintain knowledge of digital learning best practices and vendor-specific software to build and deploy exceptional learning content.RequirementsBachelors' Degree (adult education, training, HR, or related degree).
