Job Description: LLC builds and owns a digital portfolio dedicated to matching audiences with major brands. We've built industry-leading websites and performance marketing partnerships in a wide range of verticals, including health and wellness, technology, education, personal finance, and senior living.
Homefield is looking for a Content Marketing Manager to develop editorial content across many different industries and niches with the sole objective of earning press mentions, social buzz, inbound links, and site traffic. The Content Marketing Manager is responsible for leading ideation meetings, research and development, production, and promotion. This person will also develop a content strategy and manage the editorial calendar. is located in Seattle; this is a remote position.

  • Create and own content strategy and editorial calendar
  • Lead a team through content ideation, including curating and vetting ideas that have the highest potential to create press mentions and site traffic
  • Create and/or manage the production of content, including writing and researching, images and design assets, and uploading and publishing
  • Writing short- and long-form copy for multiple mediums including digital, email, and social media
  • Facilitate the promotion of content to media by creating or managing the creation of pitch templates and outreach strategy
  • Track and report on the performance of content marketing efforts
  • Manage multiple projects at once and provide weekly reports on progress, roadblocks, and completion to the management team.

      Required Skills:
      • 2+ years of content writing, journalism, public relations, or digital marketing experience
      • Strong editing, writing, and research skills
      • Must be able to strategically craft headlines that inform and delight
      • The ability to weave together a narrative through a series of well-written, freestanding short posts
      • Candidates must have impeccable linguistic and grammar skills, be highly adaptable and be prepared to target multiple audiences for different brands
      • Basic understanding of SEO
      • Experience with WordPress and basic HTML coding
      • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Docs
      • Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop or Equivalent preferred but not required
