The Role

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse or Physician's Assistant to take ownership of a Mobile Immunizations Team and all operations involved. The Program Manager will oversee multiple Mobile Immunizations Teams in and around the Seattle area, with some on-site work and some remote work. The overarching focus of the Mobile Immunization Team's work is to increase access to vaccinations for Covid-19, especially in the maritime industry. This position will work closely to manage and support activities across the team that has a direct impact on the mission. Will need weekend availability for on-call needs of Immunizations Program.

Requirements

Essential Functions:

  • Management of multiple Mobile Immunizations Teams comprised of 4-5 staff each in and around the Seattle area, including - staffing, scheduling, inventory needs, and daily oversight
  • Manage payroll approvals and time-off requests.
  • Conduct periodic staff reviews.
  • Liaise with outside and inside stakeholders.
  • Write and edit Standard Operating Procedures for training purposes.
  • Develop and support training content for Mobile Immunizations staff, collaborating with medical compliance team as needed.
  • Assure smooth running operations for clients and staff including clinical oversight and monthly site visits.
  • Create a positive and welcoming environment for Immunizations Teams
  • Organize Mobile Immunization program events - to include assigning schedules and coordinating staffing.
  • Support HR-related tasks of the testing group - employing, on-boarding, proficient turn of events, and maintenance.
  • Oversee and manage vaccine inventory including ordering vaccine as needed to fit the program's needs and receiving vaccine on-site.
  • A clear understanding of all vaccine guidelines including proper vaccine storage and handling guidelines.
  • Assist with training staff on new procedures.
  • Must adhere to confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
  • Strict Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements will be adhered to by the company and is expected of the provider fulfilling this position.
  • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Must be a Registered Nurse, Physician's Assistant, or Pharmacist License.
    • Minimum 4 years working in a medical setting.
    • Minimum 4 years of management experience.
    • Strong understanding of business management, financial, and leadership principles.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing, and to interact positively with a wide variety of people.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
    • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies.
    • Commitment to providing exceptional service to customers and support to staff members.

    • Clean nationwide criminal background check and driving record background check.

      Physical and Mental Requirements:
      • Mental Requirements - Ability to reason logically and make sound decisions, to consider alternative and diverse perspectives, to communicate effectively both orally and in writing, to reman poised under all circumstances, and to interact effectively with people in a positive manner that creates confidence and trust.
      • Work Environment/Physical Requirements - Long periods of sitting, walking to various work areas, going up and down stairs, working on a computer, talking on the phone, working with office/computer equipment, attending meetings, and sitting at desk or table while listening, talking, and taking notes. Frequently required to lift objects weighing up to 20 pounds. Required to work outdoors in all types of weather.

        Benefits

        Starting at $83,200 to $104,000 per year

        FLSA Status: Exempt

          As of August 2021, Discovery Health MD staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as indicated by the CDC (Centers for Disease Control). If hired, you will be required to submit proof of vaccination on the first day of hire.
