NURSE MANAGER (Registered Nurse 3) to join our Endoscopy Unit. We

The Assistant Nurse Manager is a supervisory position, responsible
for clinical functions, staffing assignments, and care
coordination. The Assistant Nurse Manager will oversee patient
placement and throughput and will act as the main onsite leadership
when administration is not present.
- Acts as a lead point of contact for Registered Nurses, Medical
Assistants, and Instrument Technicians
- Establishes effective workflows for routine tasks and

endoscopic procedures. Provides patient care before, during, and
after conscious sedation. Educates patients, administers
medication, uses and maintains endoscopic equipment, and helps
manage emergencies and complications.
- Facilitates staff meetings in conjunction with the Nurse
- Reviews unit staffing schedule and plans for coverage due to
vacations, LOAs, and vacant positions
- Monitors unit acuity and patient flow, and supports care
coordination for complex patients
- Participates in unit and organizational committees, taskforces,
and work groups
- Provides feedback to the Nurse Manager for annual performance
- Plans, implements, and evaluates unit orientation for

- Demonstrates ability to provide "just in time" feedback to
staff regarding clinical performance, interpersonal team
interactions, and patient/family communication
- Promotes practices and decisions that reduce human error and
promote staff/patient safety
- Current license and 2 years of medical-surgical or endoscopic
nursing experience; or equivalent education/experience
- An active Registered Nurse license in the State of
- Previous ICU, PACU, procedure, or conscious sedation
- BSN or MSN
- 1 year of lead, supervisory, or management experience
