zero waste. About the team:The Shipper Analytics team generates
insights, analysis and actionable recommendations to inform
business decisions and sales strategies and actions to contribute
to the growth of our Shipper business. The team develops tools,
processes, metrics, reports and the data foundation to ensure
insightful data is available across the Shipper organization.About
you:As a Senior Manager, Insights on the Shipper Analytics team,
you will lead the business performance analysis and insights
generation process for the Shipper organization, Convoy's demand
team. You will work closely with cross-functional business
leadership, analytics team members and other managers across
Convoy.You are a masterful storyteller / business strategist that
mines for insights and turns them into simple and yet compelling
narratives that explain business performance and help identify key
opportunities and areas to action on. You innovate deliberately and
balance diagnostic 'what' and 'where' answers with more strategic
'why' and 'how' perspectives.You will:Partner with stakeholders in
our Shipper Organization, including Sales, Account Management, and
Revenue Strategy & Operations, to help them understand key
performance drivers and generate actionable insightsBe a key voice
and advocate for data-guided decision-makingDevelop a deep
understanding of the Shipper organization and its key performance
drivers, and play a strategic role in establishing and nurturing
long term partnerships with Shipper leadership teams and other key
stakeholder teams across ConvoyCreate and maintain systems to
elevate best practices and demonstrate resultsRecruit, retain,
develop, and motivate our talent We're looking for someone who
has:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Economics,
Statistics, Mathematics or a quantitative and analytical
discipline7+ years of experience leveraging quantitative analysis
and analytics to solve business problems, preferably within a large
customer service or sales organization2+ years managing
analystsStrong analytical skills – excellent at analyzing business
information, creating dashboards and data visualizations, tracking
key business metrics. High level of proficiency in data management
tools.An experienced storyteller, capable of distilling complex
ideas and data into simple, digestible, and compelling
narrativesStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience
working directly with business teams to drive resultsDemonstrated
ability to manage and influence decision-makers and key
stakeholders, and drive collaboration and commitment across
disparate groups with competing prioritiesDemonstrated ability to
be an inspirational leader, including building and maintaining
strong team culture and moraleComfort with ambiguity; ability to be
flexible in a rapidly changing environment that moves
quicklyIntelligent but practical; you want to get things done and
