Job Description:
At Grange Insurance Association (GIA), every employee is an

has a passion to build and maintain relationships as a Territory
P&C Sales Manager. In this position they will be assigned to
our Western Washington territory and work directly with the
independent agents that partner with our Company. This opportunity
will be remote with a home base in western Washington.Are you a

snapshot of what you'd be responsible for: Manage production,
retention, and profitability of defined territory to align with
overall company goalsPromote growth through creating and sustaining
strong business relationshipsDemonstrate creative problem solving
and analytical skills to serve as a resource for mutual
successUtilize market intelligence, agency characteristics and
internal tools to identify and develop marketing strategy, brand
awareness and territory growth campaignsServe as a liaison between
agency partners and company personnelProspect new agency
appointments that align with identified areas of growth
opportunityCommunicate performance results, company processes,
underwriting appetite and product informationDeliver and monitor
agency performance improvement plans as applicableCreate a strong
industry presence through consistent contact with all agents in the
assigned territoryTrain agents on company quoting platforms,
website, and related systemsCoordinate and participate in industry
events, trade shows, networking opportunities, and educational
programsProvide agent feedback and industry intel to assist with
developing internal procedures, product, pricing, and territory
alignmentPresent a professional demeanor that aligns with company
core valuesDocument agency visits, sales, and prospecting
activities accurately and timelyPreferred Skills and
ExperienceBachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business
or Management (a minimum of two year's related experience may
substitute for education)A minimum of two years of experience in a
marketing, sales, or relationship management roleExcellent time
management, organizational and follow-up skillsAbility to work
independently and remain accountable with minimal
supervisionExcellent verbal and written communication
skillsConflict resolution and negotiation skillsCollaborative team
playerKnowledge of personal, farm and commercial insurance
industryProficient in MS Outlook, Word and Excel and presentation
skillsProfessional insurance designation (i.e. AFIS, CIC,
CPCU)RequiredAbility to travel (may include occasional overnight)
