- Establish and maintain best practices in areas of business
processes, KPIs, and analytics including visual management
systems
- Act as a coach for program/project teams, leadership teams and
departments on use of Lean methodology, use of Six Sigma
methodology, use of project management skills, and use of change
management tools
- Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the organization
through fostering cross functional relationships, decreasing
redundant work, and development of continuous improvement
strategies
- Leads effort across the business to identify improvement
opportunities
- Facilitate and lead kaizen workshops, value stream mapping,
process mapping, SIPOCS, and other key continuous improvement
tools/skills
- Provide specific tools and lean technique training (Yellow
Belt, Green Belt, Kata Coaching, etc.) to develop an organic
continuous improvement capability over time while promoting a
growth mindset
- Execute high impact, complex improvement projects of large
scope and complexity that deliver business benefits and measurable
outcomes
- Utilize data analysis and analytics to develop key performance
metrics, create capacity models, and improve overall operational
performance Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree of Engineering/Business/ Science or related
discipline
- Lean Six Sigma Certification, Green or Black Belt or
Equivalent
- 5+ years' experience leading and supporting operational
excellence transformations in a pharmaceutical or a related
regulated industry
- Development of Value Stream Maps, Visual Management Systems and
other lean tools
- Proven experience in project management, facilitation,
training, and change management
- Must possess strong verbal and communication skills, and a
well-developed ability to constructively work across matrix
functional areas and levels to achieve results
- Skilled in critical thinking with strong analytical and
problem-solving skills
- Possesses a thorough understanding of the Six Sigma and Lean
philosophies and can teach and coach others how to apply Six Sigma
and Lean concepts and foundational tools -
- Ability to influence, build relationships, and manage change
effectively across a highly matrixed organization
- Demonstrated ability to recognize issues, highlight risks and
prioritize workload based on business goals
- Excellent time management & organizational skills along with a
proven ability to multi-task while promoting a growth mindset
- Proven track record of implementing continuous improvement
