OverviewJob Summary:Our team is building a product that millions
of customers love to use, so convenient and compelling customers
will rely on this product at every stage of the shopping experience
- from expert product guidance to listing to ordering to
post-purchase support - across devices, desktop and mobile, in all
countries where it is available.As a UX Program Manager, you have
good knowledge of design and design processes. You have experience
partnering with designers and stakeholders to drive ideas for
innovative programs and processes, delivering successful projects
end-to-end, managing deadlines and risks across multiple teams,
communicating effectively to stakeholders, and working closely with
your cross-functional teams. You have a track record of adapting
approaches to fit a variety of customer needs and organizational
constraints. You are very detail-oriented and organizationally
savvy. You possess a high level of curiosity and the ability to
drive through ambiguity using solid project management skills, the
ability to influence with data-driven recommendations, and
customer-oriented problem-solving abilities.KEY JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES:--- Lead a team and projects for cross-functional
teams focused on launching product shopping-wide initiatives.---
Drive on-time, satisfactory delivery of design team work by
tracking other teams' calendars, timelines, and team backlogs;
removing obstacles to delivery, assisting with tactical issues,
scheduling reviews with stakeholders and leadership, and
communicating product/team status.--- Facilitate contacts,
information, and asset distribution between the Product Design team
and internal and external stakeholders.--- Put repeatable processes
in place that help us plan and manage multiple parallel projects
and run our business--- Working across teams to create
relationships with stakeholders and senior leadership teams---
Communicate project status with design team and stakeholders
regularly--- Seek opportunities to make improvements to team
efficiency and process.--- Primary point of contact for specific
design workstreams, working closely with design leads to
proactively clarify requirements and use cases, actively seeking
clarification when there is ambiguity.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:--- 7+
years of professional experience as a program or project manager,
UX Producer or similar role.--- 5+ years of experience leading
teams.--- 3+ years of experience leading project delivery for
large, cross-functional project teams.--- Demonstrated keen eye for
detail, as well as the ability to zoom out and see the bigger
picture--- Track record demonstrating excellent open and
collaborative communication and interpersonal skills--- Track
record of taking end-to-end ownership and driving results---
Proficiency in a variety of project management tools (e.g.: Office,
JIRA, SIM, etc.) and a willingness to identify new/better tools and
ways of workingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:--- Experience presenting
to and effectively advising senior management.--- Demonstrated
ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across multiple
organizations and drive alignment--- Experience shipping
innovative, successful features in a highly-matrixed and ambiguous
environment.--- Desire for innovation, balanced with business needs
and customer expectations--- Deep familiarity of user-centered
design processes and iterative development processes---
Demonstrated ability to use hard data and metrics to back up
strategic recommendations--- Thrives in a fast-paced environment,
while staying cool and collected--- Master planner and flexible
partner who can balance multiple competing priorities
simultaneously with minimal supervision
