Job Description:
The Meta Reality Labs Partnerships team is seeking a talented,
highly motivated and experienced individual to help drive new
product relationships for an emerging technology and product space
in our AR/VR business group. You'll be at the center of a
multi-disciplinary, cross-functional team pushing on every aspect
of bringing new products to market: technology, hardware, software,
marketing and brand, GTM, and distribution. The Strategic Partner
Manager will be an important piece to maintaining long-standing
relationships with some of our top partners. If you possess strong
relationship-building skills and enjoy working cross-functionally
to bring to life (and launch) our key initiatives and products,
this role is worth leaning into.The Wearables and Accessories
Partnerships team is seeking a Strategic Partner Manager who will
drive the partnerships from deal close through product launches,
managing the relationships, and growing, measuring and optimizing
partnership success. More importantly, you will identify ways to
grow the partnership after the initial deal close, whereby both the
partner and the Meta team will benefit and thrive. You will be
passionate about new hardware, platforms and content and enjoy
working with product teams. Additionally, you will have experience
working with multiple partners and be comfortable in a start-up
type of environment.This role will report directly to the Director
of Wearables, Accessories & HealthTech Partnerships. The ideal
candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable in a rapidly
changing environment and takes a proactive and strategic approach
to partner management. You will have the ability to bridge short
term goals with longer term strategy and be able to create and
execute a well-ordered framework of action with little to no
direction.
Strategic Partnerships Manager, Wearables & Accessories
Responsibilities:
* Bring partnerships from deal close through product launches
* scale, nurture, and optimize partnerships beyond launch,
identifying incremental, mutually beneficial opportunities to grow
the partnership
* Develop strong and deep relationships with our key partners in
specified verticals or priority areas of growth for product. Manage
the proper level partner relationships with a focus on continued
growth of the partnership, and execution against contractual
obligations
* Represent the Meta in meetings with executives from partner
companies
* Work collaboratively & cross-functionally with business
development, marketing, operations, data science, engineering,
product management, legal, developer strategy, and communicates to
execute our obligations as articulated in each partnership
* Maintain a cadence of regular syncs with partners to understand
their roadmaps and priorities to proactively identify opportunities
to grow the partnership beyond any initial deal
* Advocate for the partner internally and for the Meta team's needs
externally with the partner
* Analyze key business metrics to impact change for both the
partner and internally within FRL
Minimum Qualifications:
* Experience in sound business judgment to prioritize and triage
partner-related issues, solution-find, and effectively motivate
internal and external stakeholders to work towards a common
goal
* 5+ years of experience in a partner-facing role in the Internet,
media/entertainment, and/or high-tech industries
* Highly strategic and experienced in leading cross-functional
teams to orchestrate, collaborate, and successfully seize
opportunities
* Proven creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, highly organized
and effective communication skills
* Experience with a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* BA/BS or Technical Degree
* Business experience in hardware or software services
* Strong technical competence or tech-curious and motivated to
learn
* Exceptional interpersonal skills and experience developing strong
working relationships, garner respect, and grow influence inside
and outside the AR/VR organization
* Skilled at navigating, understanding, and enforcing contracts
