Job Description:
McGee Air Services is looking for A Director of Operations for
our Seatac Airport Station
The Director Operations Seattle (SEA) provides leadership and
strategic direction for the operation. This role will lead and
drive continuous improvement in aspects of McGee's SEA operation,
including managers and supervisors responsible for the day-to-day
station operations functions. The Director is responsible for
building a collaborative team, who creates a culture of mutual
respect and teamwork, while ensuring safety and service are
fundamental operational priority. This role reports to the Managing
Director, Station Operations

continuous improvement in all aspects of the operational, service,
culture, safety, recruiting, training, and recognition
- Develop long term strategies while achieving short term targets
on vendor and internal scorecards
- Ensure performance metrics are achieved
- Prepare operational plans and manage daily work schedules in
support of a 24/7 operation in accordance with the labor
contract
- Achieve financial performance and develop strategies to improve
productivity and cost performance
- Investigate, report and develop strategies to eliminate delays,
irregularities, safety and compliance concerns quickly and
efficiently
- Lead teams to build and improve standards in safety,
compliance, attendance, team member development, discipline and
performance standards
- Recognize and celebrate individual and team
performance
- Ensure team members take pride in and account for company and
personal equipment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and all regulations of
federal, state and local airport authorities
- Ensure that facilities are maintained in excellent condition,
clean, organized, and free of hazards and clutter
- Develop positive relationships with key customers, reinforcing
our commitment to customer service and regularly validating that we
are meeting/exceeding expectations
- Establish and maintain a culture that encourages open
communication, where all team members feel valued, connected, and
engaged in the success of the operation

We'd love if you have some of these...
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Five (5) years of hands-on leadership experience, including
experience leading large groups of team members, and multiple
functions simultaneously in a fast-paced, service-focused
environment required
- Five (5) years of airline experience with proven skills in
station operations, including one of the following areas: passenger
service, cargo handling, fleet service, or ground operations -
preferred
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
required
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
required
- Experience with building and developing teams required
- Professional work ethic and demonstrated ability to work
collaboratively with all work groups while addressing people
courageously, directly and candidly
- Proven ability to direct the work of others in a positive
way
- Strong leadership ability with a genuine desire to help
others
- Able effectively communicate to a broad audience encompassing
all levels of the organization
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast -paced
environment
- Ability to work with and maintain confidential
information
- Ability to obtain and maintain airport security clearance,
customs seal, and/or USPS security clearance including background
criminal history check, drug screen and fingerprinting
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays
required
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
