visit .The Manager, Events Marketing is responsible for translating
business needs into creative event solutions that accomplish
Virtuoso s goals through collateral, signage, presentation
materials, and more. This role acts as a lead in the development
and execution of all aspects of assigned event collateral marketing
projects, including prioritization, planning, editing, proofing,
and art direction; provides direction to staff and freelance
designer and copywriter contributors; and monitors progress to
achieve desired outcomes. The Manager, Events Marketing is a
Virtuoso knowledge leader for event marketing, working with the
Senior Product Marketing Manager, Network Products and other
Virtuoso colleagues to develop and refine processes and procedures
for effective implementation.Primary Duties & Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Prioritize and
schedule all requests, create project timelines, and work closely
with Marketing Production, U.S. printers, and international
printers to successfully deliver event marketing projects.Provide
direction, delegate tasks, collaborate with in-house and freelance
copywriters and designers, track expenditures to stay within
budget, meet timelines, and manage toward achieving key
objectives.Manage internal and external review and approval
processes for event marketing projects, provide feedback, and
implement feedback to ensure the most effective end
result.Collaborate with internal contacts and external supplier
partners to track sponsor participation, source content, develop
creative, upload creative assets, and archive finished
projects.Work with regional teams to assist with development of
their event collateral.May also develop materials for company use,
i.e. presentation templates, event displays, invitations,
one-sheets, etc.RequirementsBachelor s degree in Marketing,
Advertising, Communications, or related field2 years minimum print
marketing experience4-7 years of professional experience in
Advertising, or related fieldProject management experience is
requiredSkills, Abilities, Experience:Experience writing and
editing marketing materialsStrong writing, proofreading, and
verbal/interpersonal skillsExceptional organizational skills and
attention to detailAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a
fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAble to lead people and/or
projectsAble to collect and analyze information, problem solve, and
make decisionsStrong collaboration skillsAbility to self-start and
work independentlyProficiency in MS Office Suite and Internet
navigationExperience within the travel industry preferredForward
thinking, curious, and creativeTravel RequirementsInfrequent travel
may be required to attend company events (1-3 trips per year)Travel
will be primarily domestic but may include some
