At PitchBook we're committed to fostering an open and collaborative work environment.About the Role:The Data Operations team is responsible for the core of what we do at PitchBook: delivering high quality data on the private markets to help our clients win. The team focuses on solving our clients' most critical data needs through executing on external data partnerships, prioritizing dataset requirements and investigating new data product opportunities. PitchBook is looking for an Integrations Project Manager to join our Data Operations team. This role will be responsible for driving high-impact data integration initiatives at PitchBook by actively monitoring and evaluating our existing integration pipelines, managing our existing data vendor relationships and working with key stakeholders to execute on new data integration projects. This role actively influences the data roadmap and bridges the gap between technology and human research.This role will get exposure to a wide variety of datasets and work with various different teams in the Data Operations and Product departments. The ideal candidate should have combined experience and expertise in vendor management, contract analytics/management, data analytics/due diligence and basic ETL pipeline and infrastructure. The ideal candidate should also have a strong understanding of how databases work along with excellent communication and project management skills.Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with existing contract management and vendor performance systems
  • Provide general administrative assistance on contract and vendor management (evaluate, negotiate and execute on license agreements) and communicate signed contracts to all relevant parties to provide visibility, awareness and interpretation
  • Establish good working relationships and clear communication channels with data vendors
  • Prepare, analyze and monitor vendor performance through data analysis and visualization reporting
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders (dataset leaders, data engineers, product managers etc.) to execute on data integration roadmap
  • Act as liaison between internal and external stakeholders through understanding internal dataset requirements, vendor product specification and technical requirements on both sides
  • Continuously improve our external and internal deliverables and operational processes
  • Establish project goals, measure your business impact and identify additional opportunities
  • Support the vision and values of the company through role modeling and encouraging desired behaviors
  • Participate in various company initiatives and projects as requestedSkills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance or related field
    • Excellent data and statistical literacy with strong understanding of databases and data pipelines
    • 1-2 years experience writing queries in SQL and direct experience building and utilizing reports in Tableau or PowerBI
    • Bias for action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary to meet team goals
    • Superior attention to detail including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong audience awareness
    • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite including in-depth knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel with the ability to pick up new systems and software easily
    • 1-2 years of vendor and contract management experience preferred
    • Experience working with procurement CRM systems preferred
    • Experience working with data engineering and warehousing technologies such as AWS, Snowflake, Redshift, Airflow etc. preferred
    • Familiarity with Python preferred
