deploy and testing processes? The Candidates Management Platform
team is looking for a passionate Quality Assurance Manager to drive
initiatives to increase testability and development efficiency for
our high-availability suite of services, through an understanding
of the technologies under test, guidance of Quality Assurance
Automation Engineers, and collaboration across teams and functions.
This QA Manager will support Indeed s comprehensive vision of
quality, relying on speedy automation to assure base functionality
and targeted metrics to deeply probe system quality.Our platform
provides the ability to create, store, retrieve, and securely
manage candidate data. Partner teams use our platform to implement
workflows by which employers review, evaluate, and communicate with
job applicants. Finally, our platform includes data pipelines,
capturing both operational and analytics data to assure successful
interactions between employers and candidates.Your job:Indeed is
looking for a QA Manager who loves seeing the impact of their work
make a difference every day. You will advocate for quality at all
stages of the product life cycle. You enjoy working on teams that
move quickly, and know that it is the job of everyone on the team
to speak up at any point in the process. As our engineering
organization grows, you will help ensure we keep the talent bar
high, and will grow the skills and capabilities of engineers by
providing them with regular feedback to help them grow.Our QA
Managers understand the depth of the QA Automation Engineer role
and consistently advocate for Quality. They believe in the benefits
of an embedded or shared QA on a product team, and the meaningful
part that QA plays in planning and
development.ResponsibilitiesProvide hands-on leadership for a
growing Quality Assurance team, coaching test automation engineers
to help them develop their skills and careersRemove roadblocks and
recognize the power of autonomy and ownership of each individual
contributor in their teamsWork with developers to improve
testability, mentor cross-functionally on testing strategies and
technologies, and coach the team on specialized testing methods
across the productChampion shift-left and CI/CD quality engineering
practices within a team or within the organizationTake holistic
ownership of product quality throughout the SDLC, advising the
development team on designing software components with quality and
testability in mind, as well as assisting in remediation and
prevention of complex production issuesWho You AreBachelor's Degree
in Computer Science or related area or relevant work experience5+
years of management experience in Quality Assurance or Computer
Science fieldProven track record in managing automation effort and
experience in leading successful CI/CDExperience working
cross-functionally with groups like Software Developers, Product
Managers, and Lead ArchitectsA deep understanding of web platform
technologies. Hands on experience in defining or coaching backend
system testing strategyStrong ability to onboard and coach QA
Automation Engineers, help them improve their skills, and grow
their careersExperience working in fast-moving agile teams, and
hands-on experience with programmatic test automation coding and
automated testing framework design is a plusWe get excited about

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not
