Job Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company building some of the most exciting projects in the region. -The main responsibility of the Community Manager is to be the team leader in customer service, resident retention, fiscal success, and daily operations. -The Community Manager will strive to create the best beginning-to-end living experience on the property and ensures the highest standards of customer service are met while overseeing the daily operation, maintenance and curb appeal, and management of the community as a whole.
Qualifications:

  • REQUIRED 2+ years of experience managing a multi-family property
  • Lease-Up experience preferred but not required
    Responsibilities of the Community Manager
    • Oversee maintenance and leasing staff on the property. -This includes staff training, guidance, hiring, firing, discipline, and scheduling which includes timecard approval and vacation requests
    • Maintain positive resident relations through superior customer service. -Reaffirm the sense of community and promote resident retention
    • Ability to handle conflicts with both residents and fellow employees
    • Communicate in a professional manner
    • Create and manage the budget of the community
    • Formulate and execute comprehensive marketing plans
    • Assist with leasing duties as needed, approve leases, audit resident files
    • Collect rent, manage the delinquencies and collection follow up
    • Review, enter, scan, and approve invoices
    • Ability to multi-task and submit reports on time
    • Help develop scope of work, oversee the work orders, turnovers, property appearance, and capital/renovation projects
    • Ability to maintain a regular schedule which may require working overtime, weekends, and non-traditional holidays.
    • Provide assistance during staffing deficiencies and emergencies
    • Good working knowledge of landlord-tenant laws
    • Compliance with all Fair Housing & Equal Housing Opportunity Requirements
    • Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned by the Regional Manager or Corporate Staff
      This position is for a multi-site property, 10 minute drive from each other in Lake City Way and University District. Our properties are owner-managed, which means you may be asked to cover another property on an as-needed basis. All assets are located in the downtown Seattle-Bellevue area.
