**Overview** GMMB is looking for a Creative Director with an Art Direction background to lead work in our Seattle office. In addition to having strong conceptual chops, the ideal candidate will be a true team player, assisting in strategy development, partnering with account leads to manage client relationships, and collaborating with creative staff to produce effective work and further their growth and development. The Creative Director works as aproblem solver, multitasker and consensus builder who is practical, patient, and flexible. They are a new thought partner who can continue to raise the creative bar for all West Coast clients. With creative team members spread across the West, and more eager collaborators stationed in DC the Creative Director works as a creative leader who can chart the course, rally the troops, and look to win the war without expecting to win every addition to having strong conceptual chops, the Creative Director is a true team player, assisting in strategy development, partnering with account leads to manage client relationships, and collaborating with creative staff to produce effective work and further their growth and development. **Who We Are** We're an agency on a mission: to cause the effect.We know that great minds don't all think alike. Our success depends on diversity at every level, and a truly inclusive culture where everyone is welcomed and where their talents and ideas are channeled into our work to champion equity and justice.See video (**Responsibilities** + Knows the agency's core business and practice areas + Works with account leaders and strategists to lay the groundwork for big ideas + Sells creative solutions that address client needs and help grow revenue + Has exceptional communications skills and can deliver compelling presentations + Exhibits excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills + Shows attention to detail and deadlines, delivering work on time and on budget. + Stays current on creative and industry trends + Produce design solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives. + Ensure all visual design adheres to existing brand guidelines. + Generate strong video, print and digital design for a multitude of assignments. **Qualifications** + At least 8-12 years of experience in an advertising/creative agency + 5+ years of art direction and/or design experience in a related agency department or industry (advertising, digital, social media, publishing/content or public relations). + Continuous motivation to learn and embrace new and emerging techniques, trends and beliefs in design, technology, and social media. + Experience developing stand-out work across media, including digital, social, broadcast and print + Superior client service and relationship-building skills, and the ability to function well within a team environment + Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and the leadership skills needed to enact change + Experience managing others and the ability to serve as a teacher and mentor to junior staff **Job Locations** _US-WA-Seattle_ **ID** _2022-5748_ **Position Function** _Creative_ **Job Classification** _Full Time_
