Job Description:

Rescue provides behavior change marketing services (or "social marketing") to government, non-profit and corporate organizations. Rescue's current work focuses on opioids, marijuana, prescription and illicit stimulants, and high-risk drinking; tobacco; sexual health; the promotion of exercise, fresh foods and after school programs; and other products and services that promote healthy living. Most of Rescue's substance-focused behavior change campaigns focus on diverse populations within teen (13 - 17), young adult (18 - 25), and adult (18+) populations across a spectrum of substance use, resulting in a vast array of campaign styles and strategies.
Rescue is a full-service agency, providing research, strategy, creative, production, web, traditional media, social media, policy change, youth engagement and experiential marketing services to clients in over 25 states and provinces, as well as to federal government agencies.

The Job We are looking for a dynamic, high performing Sr. Account Manager with experience in client service and account management to support our Substance Programs. The ideal candidate has a passion for behavior change, a history of building strong client relationships, and experience with the creative development process and production of marketing materials. Day-To-Day Activities:

  • Serve as one of the primary day-to-day contacts for our clients, inclusive of sharing strategies, updating timelines, and reporting;
  • Manage and assist with the creative and strategy process for the development of media initiatives related to TV, radio, OOH, digital, social, and local activations;
  • Track tasks and deliverables using project management tools;
  • Lead the management of campaign budgets, including reconciling the budget each month and ensuring client deliverables are on track;
  • Implement holistic behavior change strategies for clients that follow Rescue's research recommendations and ladder back to client annual objectives. Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree +3 years relevant experience OR 8 years relevant experience OR Master's Degree +1 years relevant experience;
    • Experience with the creative development process and production of marketing materials including print, collateral, radio, web, events, and television/video;
    • Experience managing and juggling multiple priorities and projects or accounts requiring effective time management and organizational skills;
    • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills; Preferred Qualifications:
      • State, county or city government experience in creating communications campaigns;
      • Ability to analyze advertising metrics and report on them;
      • Previous experience working on health communications campaigns, especially pertaining to substances such as opioids, marijuana, or alcohol.         Environment:

        COVID-19 Vaccine Mandate:
        All employees hired must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to their first day of employment. This includes employees who telecommute and work remotely. For Pfizer or Moderna, that is two weeks after an employee has received the second dose in a 2-dose primary series. For Johnson and Johnson (J&J)/Janssen, that is two weeks after an employee has received a primary single-dose.

        Physical Requirements:
        Able to remain in a sitting position for prolonged periods of time and stoop, bend, reach, climb stairs, and move freely throughout the building for the performance of duties. Able to read from a computer or laptop monitor for several hours at a time including fonts of various sizes from a variety of sources. Able to travel nationwide as needed to meet with clients, coworkers, or attend meetings and seminars.
