Job Description:

NBBJis looking for aCorporate Interiors Senior Project Managerto join our studio toworkon interior focused projects varying in scale and complexity as well as integrated architectural projects. In this role you will lead projects that include interior design services for single clients as well as multiple corporate campus buildings. In this role, you will manage the design team, project costs and contracts involving construction of the interiors of new buildings and the alteration of existing buildings and facilities.Your New Role:

  • Lead clients and gain their confidence
  • Lead user group meetings, create work plans, negotiate contracts, and facilitate the design process from programming and planning through CA
  • Work with the lead project designer to satisfy client's requirements and goals
  • Manage team complexity - plan, organize, negotiate and supervise the work of a design team of 3 to 10+ individuals
    • Responsible for accuracy and applicability of documents for entire project(s)
    • Build and maintain day-to-day working relationships with client(s) and consultants
    • Lead the decision-making process with fiscal accountability and responsibility
    • Develop and execute a management workplan for the overall project(s)
    • Assist with proposal preparation and participate in client presentations/interviews
      • Responsible for execution of project within the boundaries of the design intent
      • Apply sound and diversified knowledge of architectural and interior principles for all aspects of the project(s)
      • Make independent decisions on architectural and interior problems and methods
      • Solve problems creatively with consultants
      • Develop and negotiate contract terms, fees, and scope in accordance with firm policies and best industry practices.
      • Assist with business development and collaborate with other studios
      • Communicate project challenges and project health to the studio and firmWhat you will need to Succeed:
        • Minimum 10 years of experience in interiors or architectural field with the last three years focused on large and complex workplace interiors
        • Bachelor's or Master's degree
        • Licensure or NCIDQ certification highly recommended; LEED accredited a plus
          • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Suite and Office Suite
          • Ability to work within a highly collaborative team environment
          • Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
          • Ability to work with integrity, trust and commitment; setting an example for others
          • Ability to travelif the project(s) requires
