The Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DDEI) will play a vital role at Parametrix and continue to develop and implement the companywide diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) workplan and framework. This position will join the companywide leadership team and report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This position can be based out of any of our Parametrix offices per your preference and will require travel for meetings and project and leadership collaboration. Duties and Responsibilities: This position provides vision, leadership, and counsel in the creation of a welcoming and respectful environment that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion, and promotes workplace excellence. This is an exciting opportunity to craft a proactive leadership role within our company in accordance with institutional needs and demographic realities. You will work collaboratively with leaders and employee-owners across the company to advance our core value of inclusion and strategic DEI goals within the company, in our communities and with our clients. You have a vision, are a community convener on issues relating to DEI, and have experience working with clients, projects, and the AEC industry to promote change, education, and diverse and equitable outcomes. To promote and increase DEI awareness, you will lead facilitation and training, address questions and issues, provide mentoring, and develop metrics and goals.

Minimum Qualifications: --- 5+ years of experience with DEI, or certification and/or graduate degree in multi-cultural and diversity studies or a similar area. --- Relevant experience working in diversity-related positions with a consistent record of progressively responsible leadership and ability to provide strategic direction. --- Proven record of accomplishment of strategically creating and administering DEI policies, initiatives, and training with a strong knowledge of issues, content and survey development, research and data analysis, and employee development. --- Demonstrated experience hiring, staffing, supervising, and evaluating employees. --- Outstanding advocacy and diplomatic skills that demonstrate dedication to equity, fairness, and transparency. --- Proven success in attracting and training diverse employee-owners and building an inclusive professional environment. --- High-level of verbal and written skills with an ability to communicate optimally at all levels internally and externally, including with clients, employees, supervisors/managers, leadership team, and Board of Directors. --- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of federal, state, and local legislation related to harassment and issues associated with protected class discrimination, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972.
