Description:Position Summary:Responsible for PNP's planning,
procurement, fabrication oversight and distribution of final
product to the customer. Execution of project management roles and
responsibilities through accurate documentation and data
management. Constructively collaborate with the various departments
(e.g., sales, engineering, procurement, finance, fabrication, and
shipping) to ensure customer needs and contractual requirements are
met, and that all projects are completed on time and meet or exceed
all necessary standards.Essential DutiesPre-design and planning:
The PM is responsible for producing a critical path framework and
creating the project's schedule and timeline.Resource allocation:
The PM needs to plan and budget for all resources, from required
materials, tools, equipment, and laborMonitoring progress: The PM
is responsible for ensuring the project progresses through each
phase successfully, on time, and on budget. The PM will be
responsible for documenting each step and communicating effectively
with both internal and external stakeholders. The PM will identify
and manage risks and resolve problems when issues ariseThe PM will
be solely responsible for maintaining project scope and schedule
and developing correction action plans to meet each project
milestonePrepare daily time logs and material reports with
quantities usedSupport PNP sales team by assisting with preparation
and review of bid and proposal documentsConsult with sales team and
clients to identify and define requirements, scope, schedule and
budget and project objectivesAssist the Shop Superintendent and
Senior Technical Manager with breaking projects down into
actionable items, setting timeframes and assist with project
schedule management and budgetCoordinate efforts of supporting
departments and elements (i.e., Sales, Purchasing/Supply Chain,
Contract Administration, Production, Shipping, Accounting, Quality
Assurance and Shipping)Assist with contract administration Prepare
safety and quality documentation and other project submittals as
required. Monitor the progress of projects from initial receipt
through phases of production planning, manufacturing, shipping,
installation if applicable, and after-sale service.Communicate
regularly with production personnel to ensure that projects are
completed and shipped within timeframe established with the
customers and contractsAttend/coordinate weekly production
meetings, identify and communicate project goals and requirements;
coordinates efforts of supporting departments (i.e., Sales,
Purchasing/Supply Chain, Contract Administration, Production,
Shipping, Accounting, Quality Assurance and Shipping).Create and
maintain comprehensive project documentation and reportsParticipate
in post-project review and analysis (i.e., lessons learned)Actively
participate in the company's process of continuous improvementServe
as safety lead and ensure the importance of developing and
maintaining a safe working environment.Requirements:Required
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in project management,
construction management or related field of studyMinimum 7 years of
experience in project management is required2-5 years of experience
in construction and/or manufacturing industry administration or
supportExcellent customer service skills Previous experience with
SalesForce or a similar CRMPrevious experience with project
management and project scheduling softwareProficiency in Microsoft
suite of tools including Outlook, Word, and ExcelMust be able to
manage multiple tasks and project deadlines simultaneously
Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation
skillsPreferred Qualifications and CompetenciesDetail-driven,
ambitious problem-solver who is self-directed and
team-orientedFlexible and able to work well with diverse
personalities under pressurePrior experience with QuickBooks
