Working within the Immunotherapy Integrated Research Center's Project Management Office (IIRC-PMO), the IIRC Project Manager manages a portfolio of complex projects. The IIRC-PMO leads project teams that include cross-functional Center groups such as the Therapeutic Products Program, IIRC Clinical Operations Team, Shared Resources, and Clinical Research Support, to drive successful execution of translational research partnerships across these programs. The PM manages internal and external collaborations across multiple departments and workgroups to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met in an efficient manner. This position requires flexibility in a rapidly changing environment, as well as a strong understanding of the drug development process and the needs of biotech and pharmaceutical company partners.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall coordination and management of complex clinical trials and clinical research opportunities from early partnerships to trial open.

Project management


  • Oversee the implementation of industry sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials in the Bezos Family Immunotherapy Clinic
  • Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations
  • Lead cross-functional teams and track action items and deliverables
  • Create timelines and track trial implementation progress for financial, contractual, regulatory, manufacturing, and clinical activities
  • Triage project issues and ensure solutions are implemented
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to determine prioritization of competing activities
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with faculty members, project sponsors, research administration, administrative departments and peers
  • Manage multiple projects of varying size as assigned

    Qualifications
    Minimum Qualifications:

    • BA/BS
    • 3-5 years of experience in Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical Development project management.
    • Highly effective team player and excellent communicator with an ability to interact with and influence internal and external stakeholders and work with scientists and executives with diverse information needs and communications preferences.
    • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
    • Advanced meeting organization and facilitation skills
    • Experience with managing a multiple project portfolio
    • Knowledge of and demonstrated experience with Project Management methodologies and tools
    • Advanced experience with key project artifacts, such as charters, project plans, risk matrices, dashboards, and roles and responsibilities documents (e.g., RACIs).
    • Advanced computer skills and deep experience with at least one Project Management software tool (e.g., Microsoft Project, Basecamp, SharePoint etc.)

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • MA/MS
      • Industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated clinical trials expertise is highly desired, -especialyl in IND submissions and Phase 1-2 studies.


        This position is patient facing and/or requires access to Fred Hutch clinical facilities. As such, full COVID-19 vaccination is required as a condition of employment, without exception. Booster doses are strongly recommended but not required. If declining a booster, completion of the COVID-19 Vaccination Status Form Questionnaire and COVID-19 Booster Declination Training is required.         The annual base salary range for this position is from $90,382 to $135,574 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.------
