ideas to improve office operations? We are looking for a Regional
Operations Manager to join our Puget Sound market.As a key member
of the local leadership team and right hand to the local Executive
Managing Director, you will be responsible for executing the
strategy and tactics to build continuous improvement in service
delivery and the ongoing development of an inspiring sales
performance culture. In addition, you will lead and oversee all
components of the local office's operations including purchasing,
budgeting, financial management, staff management and broker
communication, in conjunction with the local Executive Managing
Director.
What you bring
- At least five (5) years of related Operations Management
experience including budget management and supervision experience
with experience in the Commercial Real Estate Industry.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in business, marketing,
communication, or related.
- Experience leading and managing a large team with strong
leadership skills, focused on the support and development of
others.
- Proven track record in the deployment and oversight of
administrative practices.
- Sound business judgement and ability to engage in sensitive
communications with diplomacy and discretion.
- Understands economic indicators and the impact on Commercial
Real Estate.
- Displays service excellence in dealing with internal and
external clients and partners.
- Independent, self-starter and team player. Excellent
communication, organizational & prioritization skills.
- Ability to successfully develop systems/processes and/or teams
that are flexible, adaptable and results oriented.
- Able to work under pressure, deal with multiple deadlines,
effectively handle stressful situations and work with minimal
direction/supervision.
- High degree of professionalism, discretion, and
confidentiality. What success looks like
- Lead and manage the operations support professionals of various
Brokerage teams. Ensure excellence and efficiency in the delivery
of these services and promote continuous improvement in all service
areas.
- Build rapport and trust with the Colliers Puget Sound broker
teams.
- Partner with local Executive Managing Director to collect
information on broker work-in-progress and pipeline of transaction
revenue.
- Execute annual operating and capital budget and twice-a-year
forecasting in collaboration with local Managing Director. -
- Review revenue/expense analyses and maintain intimate knowledge
of the budget to aid local Executive Managing Director in decision
making and provide corporate management reports as required.
- Maintain an organized and effective audit process to ensure
local revenue recognition processes are followed and adhere to
company and GAAP guidelines.
- Audit, maintain and manage local broker contracts in accordance
with deal terms articulated in those contracts.
- Support in the creation of the Brokerage business planning
strategy and processes to ensure ongoing quality, service and
cost-effective management of resources. -
- Partner with Corporate and local Executive Managing Director to
ensure Sarbanes Oxley regulations are adhered to and that Colliers
Corporate policies and procedures are implemented and followed at a
local level.
- Partner with Corporate and regional platforms including Human
Resources, Marketing, IT, Operations and Accounting to ensure
timely responses to projects and requests for information.
- Partner with local Executive Managing Director and Corporate
Human Resources to implement HR activities for all non-broker
personnel including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, orientation,
training, and performance management. -
- Manage the administration and submission to People Services
and/or Commission Payroll of all documentation for new and
departing professionals.
- Oversee and ensure efficient office operations by overseeing
office equipment, facilities management, and supply orders.
- Conduct vendor product reviews and formulate expense approval
decisions within the framework of corporate policies and prudent
cost management
- Organize and execute, with the support of the Office
Coordinator, a regular program of in-office events that drive a fun
and engaging office culture.SalaryPursuant to the laws regarding

Washington StateApproximate Salary Range for this Role: $100,000 to
$150,000Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and
location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the
minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position
across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is
determined by work location and additional factors, including
job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or
training.BenefitsEmployees (and their families) are provided
options for employer subsidized medical benefits including RX,
dental, vision as well as employer paid basic life/AD&D
insurance and short-term / long-term disability. Employees are able
to enroll in our company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive
10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15-days vacation annually.
Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off.
Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex
days throughout the calendar year. 12 weeks (for birth parents) and
4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents)
for paid parental leave will also be available for use after
