St. George, Seattle Development Director-Part time (20-25 hours per week)
St. George Parish School, located on Beacon Hill, has been proudly serving the South/Central Seattle area for over 100 years.
The community of St. George Parish School forms missionary disciples who continue the work of Jesus Christ as leaders in faith, service and academics. We are rooted in the core values of Faith, Social Justice, Diversity, Collaboration, Growth Mindset and Equity. We serve 262 students from preschool 8th grade.
We seek a dynamic Development Director to collaborate with our committed team of educators in furthering the mission of our school and empowering our robust academic program that is steeped in strong Catholic values. This candidate will lead fundraising, event planning, and alumni and donor engagement
Qualifications

• Candidate should have relevant experiences in development, marketing or a related field
• Demonstrate organizational and project management skills
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including public speaking Job Responsibilities
  • Effectively communicate the mission of St. George Parish School while building relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Oversee the fundraising strategy and implementation
  • Plan and execute annual events such as the Jogathon and School Auction
  • Cultivate donations to the school through annual events, institutional giving, and estate giving
  • Recruit and train volunteers to support development efforts
  • Serve as member of the principal's leadership team and work in collaboration with the pastor and the School Commission.

    Salary ranges $26,000 -$39,000
    Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data and applicant's skills, and prior relevant experience, degrees and certifications.
    Benefits: This is a part-time position and it is no benefit eligible.
