Director, DocuSign.com Experiences and Platform to join our Product
Led Growth team under the Growth, Marketing vertical. In this role,
you will be responsible for planning and executing key frontend
initiatives for PLG engineering. You will help build user-facing
products across the world using React, Node and headless CMSs. You
manage strategic programs ranging from infrastructure and
automation, design systems, and content strategy across teams.To
excel in this role, you will need to have an excellent
understanding of front-end technologies, React, Node, and headless
CMS architectures. The ideal person should be a hands-on leader who
is strategic in decision making, relentless in execution, and
passionate about building products and capabilities that enable a
culture of experimentation and data-driven product development.
You'll build a team of leaders who contribute to the strategic
vision of our digital properties. You believe that building great
things starts with building a diverse team.This position is a
people manager role reporting to the Sr. Director,
Engineering.Responsibility
- Lead the team to drive projects from idea formulation, to
design, and implementation
- Drive great partnership with the product management, business,
UI and UX teams
- Set team strategy and be accountable for team plans and
deliverables
- Grow and build a strong, healthy, and diverse team through
hiring, as well mentoring and coaching
- Collaborate with other engineering teams and cross-functional
teams
- Provide strong technical leadership to the team and partner
teams
- Build the vision for the team along with product
management
- Collaborate and work closely with designers as a functional
unit to deliver front-end code that upholds the visual excellence
of the brand
- Lead the build and maintenance of design system components and
core abstraction layers
- Create a plan and strategy for the implementation of a holistic
design system
- Determine testing processes and deployment strategy
- Build integrated marketing needs with a possible self-serve
approach available such as, an email template that a non-developer
could use while still looking great and functioning properly
- Build and implement website experimentation
- Oversee management of technology vendors working on the
DocuSign website
- Ensure best practices as a given; SEO, responsive, performant,
and accessible Job DesignationHybrid: Employee divides their time
between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is
required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but
will be weekly in-office expectation)Positions at DocuSign are

bringBasic
- 12+ years of software development and building user-facing web
applications
- 5+ years of experience driving international expansion strategy
on digital properties
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Managerial experience with hiring, training, and developing
teams
- Experience in building products from the ground up
- Strong track record of managing multiple teams
- Strong track record of delivering large scale front-end
applications
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Proficiency in React, Node and headless CMSs with the ability
to drill deep into the complex system design and implementation
when needed
- BS, MS, Ph.D. in Computer Science or related majors or
equivalent experiencePreferred
- Strong project management skills and experience with agile or
scrum
- Experience working with design system tech stacks and
implementations
- Highly motivated self-starter with a bias to action and passion
for delivering high-quality data solutions
- Attention to detail and quality with excellent problem solving

legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following
locations:California: $188,200 - $302,825 base salaryWashington and
New York (including NYC metro area): $178,400 - $265,900 base
