Director Engineering/Maintenance.
Fast-growing specialty food company that is committed to offering fresh, healthy products to their customers. They have retail brands for consumers and also a presence in the foodservice sector where they partner with national restaurant chains. Due to the growth of the business, they are currently seeking an above average technical leader to step into a role as Director, Engineering and Maintenance. This person will be responsible for providing the technical expertise and technical leadership to deliver results for their state-of-the art facility in the greater Seattle area. This person is responsible for and provides direction and accountability for the leaders and functions of Maintenance, projects (capital and expense) MRO, facilities and utilities functions. This person will provide critical leadership for major capital projects and maintenance excellence and ensure and ensure plant safety. This person will report directly to the VP Operations and is a member of the site leadership team so along with the tactical aspects of overseeing engineering/maintenance they will be involved in strategic decisions that affect the site. Since the company is growing, they are looking for a candidate who is looking to grow with their business so this person should have potential to advance to the next level. Here are a few of the minimum qualifications are client wants to see in a potential candidate.?Bachelor s degree, preferably in engineering discipline?Multiple years of manufacturing management experience, preferably in the food industry/consumer products
?Experience with utilizing Lean manufacturing concepts?Strong leadership and people development skillsThis is an excellent opportunity with a leading company that is experiencing tremendous growth.
