Tele-Flex Option - Must reside in ID, OR, UT or WA WHO WE NEED The
Manager FEP Service and Operations plans, directs, and manages the
activities of the FEP Services and Operations. This role oversees
staff directly or through subordinate supervisor(s). The position
provides leadership to set performance standards and ensure
effective and efficient execution of customer service, claims
processing, marketing, sales, training, quality assurance, appeals
and/or project management. The Manager FEP Service and Operations
represents the department in interactions with all levels of
management, vendor partners, clients, providers, government
officials, and outside consultants. - Preferred Key Experience:
- Strong leadership experience / people mgmt.
- Operations background in a Call Center
- Familiar with Gov't programs or FEP preferred
- Healthcare / Insurance experience preferred Normally to be
proficient in the competencies listed belowThe Manager FEP Service
and Operation would have
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related
field
- 7 years of experience in healthcare operations
- 4 years of leadership experience
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience. YOUR
ROLE:
- Responsible for the activities performed by division staff to
assure performance goals are met including productivity, accuracy,
timeliness and quality of service to groups, members and business
partners.
- Responsible for developing and implementing internal quality
audits and training programs to ensure quality service levels are
met or exceeded.
- Represents FEP sales and marketing lines of business externally
at Federal agencies, sets market strategies for the year, including
quarterly updates to the FEP Director's Office.
- Handles all management level responsibilities for staff,
including performance reviews, employee development, hiring,
firing, coaching, counseling, and retention. -
- Develops supervisors and participates in talent management
activities.
- Regularly communicates organizational objectives and team
goals. -
- Monitors results and metrics to ensure deliverables are met and
compliance with department and regulatory standards. -
- Collaborates with other leaders and across departments to
resolve issues. -
- Manages financial targets and department budget, authorizes
expenditures, monitors workforce allocation and resources, and
oversees project plans.
- In conjunction with division leadership, establishes long-term
goals for department and adapts operational plans as changes occur.

- Creates visibility and support for FEP programs. -
- Develops resource materials and provides education and
communication about programs to employees, providers and community
stakeholders.
- Mgr FEP Services & Ops may have responsibility for Claims,
Customer Service, Appeals, Training, Quality Assurance, and/or
Marketing and Sales. WHAT YOU BRING:
- Demonstrated experience managing people, projects and processes
within a service and operational environment.
- Solid understanding of member service functions and claims ,
including experience in managing high volume production
environment.
- Knowledge of generally accepted auditing procedures and
practices.
- Ability to identify issues, opportunities, and effective
solutions and collaborate with other departments to improve
processes and/or results.
- Demonstrated competency in resource and project management:
budgeting, organizing work, providing leadership to staff,
establishing measures for success and managing to
deliverables.
- Ability to develop and lead a team including: hiring, goal
setting, coaching and development (including supervisors and/or
employees who may be in multiple locations or work remotely).
- Demonstrated knowledge of system enhancement/upgrades with the
ability to participate in their development, coordination, testing
and implementation.
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing,
including meeting facilitation and presentations with employer or
provider groups. The expected target hiring range for this position
is $95k - $103k depending on skills, experience, education, and
training; relevant licensure / certifications; performance history;
and work location. The bonus target for this position is 15%. The
current full salary range for this position is $91.5k Low Range/
114.5k MRP / $149k High Range. Base pay is just part of the
compensation package at Cambia that is supplemented with an
exceptional 401(k) match, bonus opportunity and other benefits. In
