Position Type : Full time Type Of Hire : Experienced (relevant combo of work and education) Education Desired : Bachelor of Computer Science Travel Percentage : 10 - 15%Job DescriptionWe are the FIS Embedded Finance team and are looking for a Technical Program Manager to help us build a brand-new financial technology platform for the future. We are looking for a self-motivated TPM with strong interpersonal skills and experience leading large-scale initiatives. The successful candidate will manage technical projects and workstreams across our organization, deliver new capabilities to developer communities, and drive innovation by working with customers to develop greenfield solutions for Embedded Finance at FIS.As a Principal Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving and delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously. In this role, you will provide project leadership, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate project risks, quantify the impact of making tradeoffs, and balance business needs against technical constraints. You will provide technical leadership that gets software applications built, launched, and operated for the long-term. You will work closely with stakeholders across various product, UX design, software, strategy, and go-to-market teams to identify and drive innovative solutions that achieve business goals and align with long-term product roadmaps.Note: This position is based in the greater Seattle/Bellevue area. We plan to bring the team together regularly for design, ideation, and connection building.GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES

  • Manage schedule and delivery risk on a daily basis and drive solutions.
  • Proactive identification of process and procedural failings and recommendations to resolve.
  • Status reporting to exec level stakeholders - Resource/capacity management and planning.
  • Establishing more effective communication and planning amongst teams.
  • Fully and completely understand system inter-dependencies and limitations.
  • Assist in the career development of others, actively mentoring individuals and the community on advanced technical issues and helping managers guide the career growth of their team members.
  • Exert technical influence over multiple teams, increasing their productivity and effectiveness by sharing your deep knowledge and experience.QUALIFICATIONS
    • 10+ years of non-internship professional software development or technical program management experience.
    • Experience with managing large cross-functional projects.
    • 6 years of experience in designing, implementing, and operating secure architecture and reference architectures in public AWS/Azure/GCP cloud.
    • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, asynchronous architectures, and distributed algorithms.
    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
      • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
      • Deep hands-on technical expertise in at least one major area: large scale full stack development, building complex distributed systems, designing massive global networks.
      • A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and follow-through on projects.
      • Able to collect, analyze and present data sets support project goals and initiatives.
      • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals.
      • Exceptional written and verbal communication, and comfortable presenting in large groups and handling high-pressure communication with senior management.
      • Strong organizational skills, successful track record of coordinating between multiple project stakeholders, technical program managers, and software development teams.
      • Experience in creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans; prior success in driving execution of large-scale project plans with multiple teams in support of business goals.
      • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies and proven leadership skills.#platformsFIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $185,390.00 - $311,460.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
