This is a twenty-seven bed inpatient medical/surgical unit with a pulmonary specialty and care of urology patients. Primary Nursing is the patient care philosophy in collaboration with patients, families, and all professional disciplines. Nursing staff are experts in respiratory assessment and management of patients experiencing thoracic surgery. Care is provided for patients ranging in age from young adult through older adult. The patient population includes those with: COPD, TB, thoracic surgery, ENT surgery, Cystic Fibrosis, and Asthma.*Qualifications:** Current WA State RN license is required.* At least one year Inpatient, Acute Care or Medical Surgical experience. Preferred: Post-op Thoracotomy & Respiratory/Pulmonary care experience.Virginia Mason offers much more than competitive compensation and benefits.
