One of the largest hospital systems in the Northwest is looking for clinical leadership in their Bariatric Clinical Program.

The Coordinator is responsible for the planning and coordination of the Bariatric clinical program processes and the implementation and maintenance of the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgical Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program designation from MBSAQIP.
 
The Program coordinator will help facilitate clinical education to ALL staff where weight loss  patient care is managed under the Medical Director - in hospital(s) inpatient/outpatient care areas (Endo/Pacu/ICU/Med-Surg).
 
The coordinator role is designed to optimize patient, staff and physician satisfaction with the Bariatric program, while also maintaining quality patient care standards as required by the MBSAQIP.
 
This position will also be co-responsible with the MBS Director for oversight of and reporting case reviews at the required Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Committee meetings required by MBSAQUIP for accreditation.
 
The candidate will also be involved in helping to establish other hospitals as designated accredited facilities for Bariatrics.
 
To be considered, your background must include:
 

• 
  
• Required Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
  
• Required 5 years of professional nursing experience required with a demonstration of competent clinical judgment and clinical leadership ability.
  
• Required Experience in planning and teaching community education or comparable programs.
