Job Description:

OverviewThe Clinical Intervention Specialist provides school-based therapeutic, case management and consultation services for a caseload of children and families. Collaborating with our partner schools, the Clinical Intervention Specialist coordinates services delivered at the school site to ensure the success of its students. In addition to working directly with children and families in need, the Specialist supports faculty and staff in including students successfully in diverse settings by providing teacher coaching, modeling and professional development opportunities. In this way, the Clinical Intervention Specialist works collaboratively with classroom teachers, school leadership and the Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) implementation team to maintain the academic, social and emotional needs of each student.Seneca Family of Agencies is committed to providing traditionally marginalized communities a network of outstanding mental health, community based, and educational services. For more information on our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiative, click here!Responsibilities* Work effectively as a member of a transdisciplinary team implementing academic, behavioral, and therapeutic services for students in need of intervention* Provide coaching and professional development to support school staff in experiencing success with all students* Implement research-based interventions aligned with the three tiers of the MTSS pyramid, including individual, group, and family therapy and case management for identified students* Document interventions provided and provide necessary reports on student progress* Engage caregivers in the educational process, providing frequent opportunities to discuss student growth and needs* Provide consultation to school staff on safety assessments, mental health crises, and accessing social service* Participate in regular supervision session and professional learning communities to enhance practice and increase coherence* Maintain a high standard of professional behavior at all times* Some travel required; mileage reimbursement will be provided for any travel beyond normal work commuteQualifications* Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling* License requirements: LMFT or LICSW in Washington preferred, may possess LMFTA or LSWAIC in accordance with Washington State Department of Health requirements* Bilingual Spanish/English, a plus!* Connection to local South King or Tacoma Counties communities* Valid driver's license* Clearance of TB test, fingerprints, and any other state or federal requirementsSchedule* Monday-FridayBenefits* Comprehensive employee benefits package, including medical, dental, vision and chiropractic coverage, and partially paid premiums for dependents* Ongoing training and professional development opportunities* 5 weeks of flexible paid time off* We provide a 403b retirement plan* Employer-paid Employee Assistance Plan (EAP)
