Job DescriptionThis is a tele-health RN position, your RN MUST HAVE A OH RN LICENSE.Must be vaccinated against covid - regardless of the fact that this is virtualMUST BE WILLING TO WORK NIGHT SHIFT, shift is 7p-730a (30 min unpaid break built in) 3 shifts a weekMUST HAVE AHA BLS UPLOADED IN THE PROFILE.If your traveler's profile passes the prescreen and meets the requirements listed below, they will get set up with a video interview. This client requires an NDA fully executed before submitting. Please ensure this has been signed and is in the profile before submitting your traveler. The NDA form can be found on the facility profile, along with the MSA. Traveler must sign the NDA, and Agency should include that in their nurses' submission packet!Patient population is 30% peds/ 70% adult. Love Your Work & Enjoy YourselfJob SummaryResponsible for direct nursing care and support of patients within established standards of care, clinical practice guidelines, and policies and procedures. 6 mos contracts if possible, these are all remote we provide the equipment for them, they need a HIPAA compliant area at home and a stable internet connection. Training is 2 weeks (paid) and shifts will be a mix of days, evenings and weekends. Between 6a and 8p 7 days a week.Essential Job Functions:1. Provides safe and quality patient care virtually and functions as a patient advocate.2. Uses technology as a platform for patient care, navigates computer and cloud storage systems, and demonstrates strong typing skills.3. Delivers patient care that leverages access, comprehension, coordination, longitudinal relationships, through virtual care channels.4. Delivers patient care in high priority content areas as determined by leadership to further organizational interests. Such high priority content areas may include travel health, preventive care, or care targeting a range of common chronic conditions. The registered nurse will participate in care delivery for these priority content areas and roles may include modalities involving, chat, video, email, or phone5. Maintain a growth mindset with desire to learn as service lines evolve.6. Demonstrates the ability to assess, record, and report needs, concerns and coordinate the needs of patients and maintain constructive relationships with them, and with all care providers.7. Strong clinical decision making skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.8. Educates and instructs the patient and/or other responsible person in meeting nursing and related patient care needs.9. Demonstrates accurate and appropriate documentation skills and compliance with documentation guidelines.10. Demonstrates ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, as well as make nursing diagnoses where appropriate. Demonstrate ability to communicate clinical / educational knowledge to others (i.e. patients and family members, other staff). Complete required nursing competencies and educational trainings. Maintains strict confidentiality regarding knowledge of all patient information, staff and Company business. Demonstrate oral and written language skills; visual and aural skills in order to communicate, ensure, and deliver safe patient care and to provide an appropriate record of the care provided.
