For more information, please visit us at Position Summary: Fairfax Behavioral Health has an opportunity for a Part-Time(0.4 FTE)/Weekend Group Therapist position at Monroe.Working as a Group Therapist at Fairfax allows you to collaborate and engage with a multidisciplinary team while working with an acute population. You will work with patients to assess their psychosocial needs, identify treatment goals, and facilitate skill-based groups to support patients in achieving an optimal level of emotional health. The Group Therapist will work under the guidance of a Licensed Social Worker to meet all regulatory standards and requirements. We are looking for compassionate and skilled individuals to bring additional expertise and experience to our team. Use your therapeutic skills to watch the growth of patients and make a lasting impact. Qualifications Education Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work preferred, mental health field experience required. Additional Requirements Current Washington State license in one of the following fields: Social Work (LICSW) or Associate Social Worker (LSWAIC), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA), or a Washington State license equivalent to any of these Must be on track for achieving full licensure. 3 years post-Masters experience in a psychiatric health care setting preferred, not required. Direct experience with group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment planning. Strong clinical assessment and case conceptualization skills required. Completion of CPR, First Aid, Handle with Care, and Verbal De-Escalation trainings required. For those with associate level license, Fairfax may provide supervision of hours to help our employees achieve their goal of independent license.
