an Associate Test & Evaluation Laboratory Technician to join our
team in Tukwila, WA. Our team is focused on the mechanical testing
of materials for a wide range of Boeing products and programs
including Mobility and Surveillance Programs, Commercial Aircraft
and Commercial Derivative Aircraft, Satellites, Space Launch
Systems, and many others. Join a team focused on writing the future
of aviation!Position Responsibilities:
- Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on
products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing
processes and technologies
- Designs systems, materials, components, software and
methodologies to meet customer requirements
- Participates in test design and performs routine procurement,
fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test
systems
- Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in
reviewing test methods and capabilities
- Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification;
supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and
post-test tear-down
- Conducts routine tests, analyzes data, and documents
results
- Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and
test-related problems
- Works under general supervisionThis position is expected to be
100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite
at one of the listed location options.The position must meet Export
Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined
by 22 C.F.R. 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen,
lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications
(Required Skills/Experience):
- Experience with performing mechanical testing (fatigue or
static)Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 2+ years of experience working in a materials mechanical
(static/fatigue) testing laboratory
- Associate s degree or higher from an accredited course of
study
- Experience with fracture toughness testingTypical
Education/Experience: Education/experience typically acquired
through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more
years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of
education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work
experience, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a
