Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Works closely with the clinical research leadership of Cancer and
Blood Disorders Center (CBDC) to establish management systems and
develop strategies that will benefit the Oncology therapeutic
clinical research operations. Oversees the process of study
startup, protocol implementation, data management/monitoring and
study close out. Develops and maintains research procedures with
the goal of standardization, increased efficiency, and ensuring
quality and integrity of all clinical trials, operating in
accordance with all applicable regulatory and compliance
guidelines. Supervises clinical research coordinators on the
Oncology Therapeutics team and works closely with faculty members
towards Institute and programmatic goals.
Requirements:
Required Education/Experience:- Bachelor's degree in a related
field.- Minimum five (5) years of research-related experience
including at least two (2) years of supervisory experience.- Proven
success managing and integrating multiple projects across an
organization. -Preferred:- Master's degree in a related scientific
discipline or Business Administration.- Oncology research
experience. -In accordance with new Washington law for healthcare
workers, Seattle Children's requires that all staff be fully
vaccinated against COVID-19 on or before October 18, 2021, or
before beginning employment for start dates after October 18th.
