Job Description:
Responsibilities The Dialysis Technician II receives daily
onsite direction for the delivery of patient care from the unit
registered nurse, supervisor, or manager and serves as a patient
care dialysis technician. In addition, this position is also
responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and ensuring that
regulatory requirements are met for all water treatment and
dialysis equipment. This includes active involvement in collection
of specimens, disinfection of water loop system, as well as
portable equipment. This position presents findings at monthly
QA/PI meetings as well as participates in internal and external
regulatory surveys as the water technician. This position is
responsible for the training of clinical staff on the proper use of
water treatment systems and provides subject matter expertise for
water quality and dialysis equipment. Requirements Required
Education/Experience: - High school diploma or equivalent
experience - Completion of a training program for clinical
Hemodialysis Technicians - Minimum of three (3) years paid work
experience in dialysis Required Credentials: - Current Basic Life
Support for Heathcare Providers (BLS) - Certified Hemodialysis
Water Specialist (CHWS) through BONENT - Current Washington State
Medical Assistant Hemodialysis Technician Certification (HT) -
Certified Hemodialysis Technologist/ Technician (CHT) through
BONENT or Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician credential
(CCHT) through the NNCC within 18 months of hire date Preferred: -
Experience in Pediatrics - Certified Hemodialysis Water Specialist
(CHWS) - CCHT-A - Experience interacting with regulatory surveyors
- Experience presenting and reporting findings to departmental
leaders Min to Max Hourly Salary Min: USD $22. 78/Hr. Max: USD $34.
18/Hr. Min to Max Annual Salary Min Salary: USD $47,382.40/Hr. Max
Salary: USD $71,094.40/Hr. Salary Information This compensation
range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours
worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple
factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and
may vary within the range provided.The union pay ranges can be

Children's offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that
